Swindon ticket and accommodation

I have a ticket for the Swindon match, and a reservation (booked but unpaid) for Jury's Inn at £39 for the night for a family room.

I would like to offer the match ticket to someone who can use (and pay for) the hotel room.

BUT...The match ticket will be free.

I will change the reservation details for whoever, and supply the booking reference.

If anyone wants to take advantage of this (preferably someone who lives a long way away) then please let me know shortly as I am on holiday after the Northampton match.

It is a reserved seat.

is this some sort of trial for a new promoition from Durys? Buy a room and get a free Saints ticket? Could work you know.

if not why?

I thought that DSM had his own pub near to Swindon, and it had a couple of rooms ?

Not any more. We left last October.

date of game DSM? and how far is jury's inn from the ground please?

And does it include breakfats?

cheers

August 18th at 19.45, breakfats (sic) not included but Swindon is a small place and the hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the ground, the station and the main clubs and pubs.

thanks but no thanks then. I would have had it if I could have got hold of another ticket in the NEXT seat etc.

i wouldnt worry too much, i've NEVER sat in the actual seat that my ticket assigned me at an away game.

and besides, people will be drunk, so they'll all make you feel welcome i'm sure! ;)

No catch. Since I bought the ticket I have decided to go on holiday at the last minute.

I thought, stupidly it seems, that I could do someone a favour who perhaps couldn't afford to pay for both the match ticket and accommodation, but needed to stay overnight because of distance.

Hey ho...
