I personally am of the opinion that many of us do not have a clue whther the current bunch are up to it. I am quite happy to wait and see how the first 3 or 4 games go and take it from there. It's only a game after all.

Don't hype up the 'new era' and get everyone to put their money into the club if you aren't going to spend any money on the team. We.Need.More.Players. I'm happy that Pardew thinks this way, and think the problem could be from above him. Unless of course the problem is that we can't attract the sort of players we want to the club.

They have all the information they need to make decisions, we don't. I trust them to do what they consider to be the right thing, whatever that is. They saved our club, we owe them that trust.

You don't just creep up on a player and throw a sack over him, dragging him down here against his will. You have to convince them that playing L1 this season is something they want to do as part of a plan to see the club push for promotion back up the leagues. That is easier said than done. there are plenty of PL clubs that struggle to convince players to join and even stay.

I would feel very sad. I would feel like something had gone very wrong in my life. I would probably cry a little, not in front of anyone, but in a quiet corner of the bedsit or the broom cupboard. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. It is not wrong to cry. Sometimes it can really help. After a good cry I feel a bit better about things. Maybe we can all log on here at a specificed time and cry together? Sometimes when I cry, I touch myself.

However AP has only been here 2 minutes, he will sign more players, and has said so. Dont panic with more substandard rot, that we have recruited over the past few years. There is still a month left for him to identify and buy exactly what he feels we need for 'top 2'. This, i agree, is a crazy thread
