CB Fry Posted 31 July, 2009 Posted 31 July, 2009 (edited) I don't suppose the club own the stadium, does it? I imagine ML owns the stadium and leases it to the club? What? ML owns everything. Club. Stadium. All of it. No-one is leasing anything to anyone. And, if we are going to have the same accounting debate for the fiftieth time since the takeover*, even if there was some complicated leasing arrangement it makes no difference to us whatsoever and won't affect our ability to buy players, or if ML "gets bored" or sells us or any of that guff. All those eventualities will be decided over what ML wants to do with the club, not some structure he has or hasn't set up. If he wants to spend £100m on players next season, he can. If he doesn't it won't be because of some leasing arrangment. It will be because he doesn't want to. ML owns everything. Get over it and stop trying to pick holes.
