NickG Posted 30 July, 2009 Posted 30 July, 2009 (edited) we should be proud of our support. Skates and Geordies are, but we show commendable loyalty in adversity. Edited 30 July, 2009 by NickG

Junction 9 Posted 30 July, 2009 Posted 30 July, 2009 I'm surprised Newcastle haven't got more ST holders than that. How many did they have in the Prem?
NickG Posted 30 July, 2009 Posted 30 July, 2009 not sure, a lot more. They fans deserted them in droves last time they were relegated, very fair weather.

Not saying they're wrong (except the Skates' one that is an obvious exaggeration ), just interested!!
NickG Posted 30 July, 2009 Posted 30 July, 2009 bored putting off end of month reports and google! OS's mainly. Think skates includes those who have promised they will renew!
NickG Posted 31 July, 2009 Posted 31 July, 2009 10,320 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1738145,00.html
harwellsaint Posted 31 July, 2009 Posted 31 July, 2009 we should be proud of our support. Skates and Geordies are, but we show commendable loyalty in adversity. have always said that, remember being at forest on the last game and it sent a shiver down my spine at just what a top support we have, aint it just grand being a saint! and it is exactly this as to why that lot down the road loath us.

NickG Posted 31 July, 2009 Posted 31 July, 2009 What time does the TO open tomorrow? are we going to get to 10,321?
beatlesaint Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 what time does the to open tomorrow? 9.30 - 4.00
bigtonesfc Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Should get a good few sold today if the unrenewed tickets are on sale!
CB Saint Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Have to admit that I am astounded that we have sold this many in League 1. Fantastic news. BTW what is the league 1 record?
Wes Tender Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Big queues there this morning. I went to get a ST for my son. There'll be several extra hundred sold today, that's for sure.
Dalek2003 Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Yep, Nowich 18,000. They do have a very loyal fan base. I reckon Norwich will be one of the top teams in this division. Very astute buys over the summer and a very good pre-season.
Wes Tender Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Not many seats left in the northam. No. just a handful. I reckon that the entire stand will be STs
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Yep, Nowich 18,000. They do have a very loyal fan base. I reckon Norwich will be one of the top teams in this division. Very astute buys over the summer and a very good pre-season. I was going to say "yeah but Norwich ST's are cheap" - but checking it out they're certainly not : http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/SeasonTickets/ Up to £617 for a centre stand renewal ! - yikes
RedArmy Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 No. just a handful. I reckon that the entire stand will be STsShould be a good atmosphere, just wish they opened the itchen north. Pardew and the players want to create a fortress, that's the best thing they could do to boost the atmosphere.
NickG Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 last season the top average attendances were Leeds 23k Leicester 20k Huddersfield 13k MK 10k Millwall 8k our season tickets last year 9500
landford.saint Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Yep, Nowich 18,000. They do have a very loyal fan base. I reckon Norwich will be one of the top teams in this division. Very astute buys over the summer and a very good pre-season. Yes and No... A large proportion of those seats were sold in their equivalent of our "early bird scheme" at discount prices, and very few since relegation... However 18.000 ST even if they were still in CCC would have been very good.
Thedelldays Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 anyone know what the final figure will be? i will....when they are all sold
Bartosz Bialkowski Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 anyone know what the final figure will be? And the lottery numbers whilst you're at it
NickG Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 10,600 and rising O/S OS now reporting 10,600 quiet day then!
RedAndWhite91 Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 I hope the Northam is sold out every game, get some atmosphere going.
northam soul Posted 3 August, 2009 Posted 3 August, 2009 Not wanting to put a damper on things as i am pleased we have over 10.5k sold but you must remember a decent percentage of these will be under 8s free tickets so it is not quite as good as it would seem. I personally do not see the walk ups being that big initially due to our position and that the prices are still quite high for league 1 football. I would be surprised if we get more than 15 thousand for most games this season as apart from the odd few, away support will also be fairly low. Millwall may bring a few down as will Leeds and Norwich so for these games we may get close to 20k but i guess a lot depends on what new players we get and how we start the season.
Toadhall Saint Posted 3 August, 2009 Posted 3 August, 2009 The gates are generally lower at the start of the season due to holidays etc anyway but as you say it will depend on how the team are doing.
Chez Posted 3 August, 2009 Posted 3 August, 2009 I'm slightly dissapointed in the sales if I'm honest. They've knocked nearly £100 off the price, offered free tickets to under 8s and Lowe has gone.
Dan Posted 3 August, 2009 Posted 3 August, 2009 I'm slightly dissapointed in the sales if I'm honest. They've knocked nearly £100 off the price, offered free tickets to under 8s and Lowe has gone. We are in League 1, people seem to forget this. We arent playing teams like Man Utd, Chelsea or Arsenal anymore. 10600 is a very impressive amount!
Chez Posted 3 August, 2009 Posted 3 August, 2009 We are in League 1, people seem to forget this. We arent playing teams like Man Utd, Chelsea or Arsenal anymore. 10600 is a very impressive amount! nor are Norwich.
Doctoroncall Posted 3 August, 2009 Posted 3 August, 2009 nor are Norwich. They are isolated in more ways than one!
david in sweden Posted 3 August, 2009 Posted 3 August, 2009 anyone know what the final figure will be? wait a minute..I'm just polishing my crystal ball,..yes yes I can see it's going to be ..........00000000000 ........oops ! the powers gone off !
Saint_clark Posted 3 August, 2009 Posted 3 August, 2009 nor are Norwich. As mentioned above, they had massive discounts for an early bird scheme which was going on before they were relegated. AND there is f*ck all to do in that part of the world.
