Dog Posted 29 July, 2009 Posted 29 July, 2009 Every year we all have a bet on who will win the English leagues. We stick a pound accumilator on it which if comes off can pay out around £1000. This year I am struggling to even pick one team, any ideas on who will win the leagues. Example: Prem = Chelsea 21/10 Championship = West Brom 11/2 League 1 = Norwich 6/1 League 2 = Notts County 11/2 Scottish Prem = Rangers 10/11

Example: Prem = Chelsea 21/10 Championship = West Brom 11/2 League 1 = Norwich 6/1 League 2 = Notts County 11/2 Scottish Prem = Rangers 10/11 At those odds you'll get £1750 for a quid. Mine would be: Man City 14/1 Newcastle 6/1 Leeds 7/2 Bradford 14/1 I'll get about £7080 for my quid. Easy money.
saints_is_the_south Posted 29 July, 2009 Posted 29 July, 2009 Chelsea West Brom Norwich City Rotherham United Celtic £10 on this with Stan James returns £14,535.35
SuperMikey Posted 29 July, 2009 Posted 29 July, 2009 Rory - St Johnstone to win the SPL? I'm a Saints fan (the blue ones) too and I think that we'd do well to stay up this season, not strenghtened the squad enough. Although Derek McInnes is a good manager, whether he's a miracle worker too is up for debate! My bets: Liverpool - 11/4 Newcastle - 6/1 Leeds - 2/1 Port Vale - 33/1 Celtic - 5/6 (Odds from Stan James)
hamster Posted 29 July, 2009 Posted 29 July, 2009 Man U Newcastle Leeds Barnet Anyone know where you can bet on relegation yet?

Dog Posted 29 July, 2009 Author Posted 29 July, 2009 I can't believe the amount of people on here who have voted for Newcastle, they're either p!ssed, stupid or retards.
Deppo Posted 29 July, 2009 Posted 29 July, 2009 I can't believe the amount of people on here who have voted for Newcastle, they're either p!ssed, stupid or retards. I'm usually all four.

Evil Monkey Posted 30 July, 2009 Posted 30 July, 2009 I put £1 on these 4 with skybet. Man City Reading MK Dons Shrewsbury @ 20,000/1
nick1579 Posted 31 July, 2009 Posted 31 July, 2009 I put £1 on these 4 with skybet. Man City Reading MK Dons Shrewsbury @ 20,000/1 Like printing money. I might have a few combinations actually - never done this before but might make the season a bit more interesting. So, some predicting us to win the league, others predicting relegation. Mid table finish anyone?
Rut Posted 3 April, 2010 Posted 3 April, 2010 I can't believe the amount of people on here who have voted for Newcastle, they're either p!ssed, stupid or retards. Yeah those people sure were mugs. I guess they could (in theory) still blow it but I reckon they'll go straight back up - prob as Champions. Good thread this. My current 1 out of 4 looks quite good compared to some! ...and we wonder why bookies stay in business.
saintkiptanui Posted 3 April, 2010 Posted 3 April, 2010 Good effort from Dog. I did Westbrom Mk Dons Notts county Oxford 0/4
daveygwyatt Posted 3 April, 2010 Posted 3 April, 2010 my 5 have crashed this year, only arenal have a chance. backed arsenal ,shef u, mk dons, rotherham and oxford.. missed out last year had 3 league winners and a close second... payed a good few hundred but could have been 4k
Rut Posted 3 April, 2010 Posted 3 April, 2010 Good effort from Dog. Agreed. 3 1st's and 2 2nd's is good going. Notts County & West Brom could still do it as well. Just think it would be ironic that the team he dissed most (Newcastle) were the ones to f**** it all up. Dog - did you actually bet on those 5? If so then good luck mate - it ain't over yet and at least you have some sort of chance of hitting all 5. Unlike the rest of us...

Yes, I have placed the bet on, and it's each way, but I believe in the Scottish Prem the team has to finish 1st whatever, and I couldn't bring myself to pick celtic. So I guess oil beef hooked.
Evil Monkey Posted 4 April, 2010 Posted 4 April, 2010 I put £1 on these 4 with skybet. Man City Reading MK Dons Shrewsbury @ 20,000/1 Oh dear.

Dog Posted 24 April, 2010 Author Posted 24 April, 2010 Prem = Chelsea 21/10 Championship = West Brom 11/2 League 1 = Norwich 6/1 League 2 = Notts County 11/2 Scottish Prem = Rangers 10/11 :smt026 I am going to cut my own throat, I have just checked my betting slip, and I picked the fenians instead of Rangers. I think I'm going to be sick. Will I get anything back Kiptanakupah if i have it each way.
