Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 26 July, 2009 Share Posted 26 July, 2009 Hats off to him, he certainly knows how to wind people up the wrong way!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/8169153.stm
Thedelldays Posted 26 July, 2009 Share Posted 26 July, 2009 thing is... when any other managr comes out with rants like that, they are laughed at for being "mental"...when fergie says anything the press say he is "calculated".. Look at Rafa last season when he pointed out that he felt Fergie/Man U got a lot of leeway at etc..to be fair, the points he gave, made sense, like the gap between CL games and the next league game, the fact man u played the other 3 big teams at home in the second half of the season etc...they were thought out points well made..yet he was ridiculed...why..? the press are terrified incase Fergie stops speaking to their papaer/radio etc like he has done with the Beeb
Kadeem Hardison Posted 26 July, 2009 Share Posted 26 July, 2009 He actually sounds a bit bitter.
hamster Posted 26 July, 2009 Share Posted 26 July, 2009 Fergie is the best in the country and has been for years. When he speaks the world listens, and you don't get that reaction by being second best. The day that he walks away from the Man U bench will be the eve of a whole new era in the Prem world, it would be sooooo unfair on the rest of us if they fin d a natural replacement, but I wouldn't bet against it. I lean towards someone like Gordon Strachan or David O'Leary, but would not be one bit surprised to see his nipper take the hot seat corrying on the dynasty with Dad upstairs in some pivotal role ala Bobby Charlton. saints_is_the_south Posted 26 July, 2009 Share Posted 26 July, 2009 Quelle surprise, Fergie sounding bitter as always. My hatred for him & United come close to that of the skates, hope City stuff them this season. +1 on what delldays posted also, what Benitez was saying last season was correct but he got ridiculed because he doesn't manage Manchester United. NickG Posted 26 July, 2009 Share Posted 26 July, 2009 Strachen is not in Fergie's league and can't see him getting the job.
