Polaroid Saint Posted 3 September, 2008 Share Posted 3 September, 2008 The best thing about this little is how much more life-like and well-proportioned it is compared the original Ted Bates statue. Nice deepest-darkest-new-forest beard too, aargh.

eelpie Posted 3 September, 2008 Share Posted 3 September, 2008 But which one is it? From dear old Wikepedia, there is quite a selection: The names of the Seven Dwarfs ("Bashful," "Doc," "Dopey," "Grumpy," "Happy," "Sleepy" and "Sneezy") were created for this production, chosen from a pool of about fifty potentials. The one name he always had in mind from the start was Grumpy, or something similar. Blabby, Jumpy, Shifty, and Snoopy were among those that were rejected, along with Awful, Baldy, Biggo-Ego, Biggy, Biggy-Wiggy, Burpy, Busy, Chesty, Cranky, Daffy, Dippy, Dirty, Dizzy, Doleful, Flabby, Gabby, Gloomy, Goopy, Graceful, Helpful, Hoppy, Hotsy, Hungrey, Jaunty, Lazy, Neurtsy, Nifty, Puffy, Sappy, Sneezy-Wheezy, Sniffy, Scrappy, Silly, Soulful, Strutty, Stuffy, Sleazy, Tearful, Thrifty, Tipsy, Titsy, Tubby, Weepy, Wistful, and Woeful. Block 5 Posted 4 September, 2008 Share Posted 4 September, 2008 Warning: Gnomes are dangerous. What at first may appear to be a cute addition to your garden can soon become a problem. You may find your property overrun by the little critters in no time at all. The only safe way to deal with gnomes, as advised by the Anti Gnome League (AGL) is to: 1) Decapitate the gnome. 2) Bury the gnome's body. 3) Paint over the gnome's eyes and mouth. 4) Store the gnome's head in a box underneath your bed.
