Looking to get a cheap phone, cheap line rental for my daughter.

Something like in the link seems ideal, Average of £10/month for 2 yrs, unlimited texts and all that ********.

 

Is there any reason why I shouldn't get this, Are there loads of catches/hidden extras etc...

Well its by redemption, so you pay the full whack and then have to remember to send off for your money back, they hope people forget to do this, so as long as your not a mongtard about it you should be fine. Orange used to charge me V.A.T on top of the advertised price, so thats worth checking prior to starting your contract

If you want a cheap deal then Tesco were doing a good one whereby for a tenner a month PAYG, you get forty quid of credit plus your 5 fave numbers are half rate - equals 1.25 per minute.

 

Others will now jump in with better deals, but I think that's pretty good considering most people I know want out of their 12/18/24 contract long before they expire, although they won't admit it on here.

I used a mobile phone deal to get a free Ps3, £30 a month, 750 cross net minutes, unlimited txts and a Ps3 thrown in, 18 month contract.

 

I bit the bullet and there has been no catches yet, just make sure you read the small print. (not saying you should get this deal for your daughter)

 

Stevo is right, those cash back deals are ok but you have to be on top of them, and occasionally i have heard they don't pay promptly.
