Penfold Posted 3 September, 2008 Posted 3 September, 2008 He has just resigned from West Ham. So now you know
Gully Posted 3 September, 2008 Posted 3 September, 2008 Lots of money will have been won and lost on Keegan yesterday.
bridge too far Posted 3 September, 2008 Posted 3 September, 2008 Redkrapp to West Ham then. Wouldn't that be great? I would lol big time
the stain Posted 3 September, 2008 Posted 3 September, 2008 Redknapp appears to be the early favourite for the job. It was suggested a while ago. Many of them want Bilic but unlikely he'll leave Croatia. I think it's pretty likely Harry will go. He said himself it'll be a huge job to get anywhere near the heights of last season. If he leaves now he can't be faulted for his time there, and he can have a new challenge. If he stays, it's only downhill. And if he takes West Ham down, he can say it's not his fault as he came in mid-season...

doublesaint Posted 3 September, 2008 Posted 3 September, 2008 Sportinglife.com is running an article on it stating West Ham could 'only' finish 10th last season, am sure a lot of clubs supporters would settle for that level of mediocrity.

Saint Mikey Posted 3 September, 2008 Posted 3 September, 2008 Looking at the two squads, although it pains me to say it, Pompey have a better squad than West Ham. Harry would be stupid (hmmmmm) to take the job, considering he's going back and those fans are hard to please. I think the more likely to thing to happen is; Harry will talk to West Ham with no intention of taking the job, the bookies and media will have him down as a favourite for the job, only for him to turn it down and sign improved terms at Pompey, citing he could never leave his 'faux' spiritual home; even for his 'real' one.
saintkiptanui Posted 3 September, 2008 Posted 3 September, 2008 Westham fans won't want bagpuss, did too much damage last time but no doubt he will put himself in the window, his odds will go down to 1.01 on betfair and he will spend the week pressing the lay button.

St Landrew Posted 3 September, 2008 Posted 3 September, 2008 So Curbs did what Keegan was going to do. It's like a false start in the 100m. Keegan feinted to go, and Curbishley actually did.
