Seriously, I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed watching through them again (though I missed out V, which was a tragic mistake of a film.)

 

A few minor flaws though

 

1. Apollo should never have died

2. Paulie was continuously a ***** and should have been laid out.

3. He should have fought Drago again at somepoint, or Clubber Lang

4. V was appalling.

6. The Robot in IV shouldd have been dusted off for Rocky Balboa.

at the start of the story, rocky was thick as pig shyt..

 

after years of being battered (and he took a beating) he somehow got more and more literate, culminating in helping solve the differences between the USA and Russia

I bet it's the only film franchise in history where the 4th film is the best one.

 

Glad the last film was made though, the thought of finishing it all with Rocky V makes me shudder.

Have to agree about Rocky all of a sudden becoming capable enough to be a diplomat for World Peace.

Stallone was the perfect actor, I counter. I mean, who else could have delivered such performances in that style? He cast himself perfectly IMO.
