AlfredKo Posted 23 July, 2009 Posted 23 July, 2009 To be fair not many of the "numbers" have been done justice recently Agree indeed. Particularly number 10. Mccan > Jermaine Wright > Wotton Can't get any worse, can we? Unless Lancashire is very interested in becoming the new number 10.

Unless Lancashire is very interested in becoming the new number 10. Don't forget Kevin Davies the season before McCann joined. Looks like Pulis and Molyneux just shat all over 21 and 22 after some great efforts from Tessem, Baird and Vignal and Bale and Gillett respectively.

I wasn't start supporting Saints when Kevin Davies was here. Was Kevin Davies a disgrace for wearing number 10 as well alonside Wotton, Jermaine Wright and Mccann?

dubai_phil Posted 23 July, 2009 Posted 23 July, 2009 The more I look at our squad, the more I think we NEED a copy of the Forum Match DVD to AP. More than a few on the pitch that day CDAJFU compared to some on the squad list Griffo, Baj, Big Dave Watson, Hamster, Disintegration 87, Granty, Nexstar, The9, heck even Influenced.Com would walk this League compared to Pulis with his passion... Hell, Granty was more deserving of the #7 shirt than some of the recent occupants

suewhistle Posted 23 July, 2009 Posted 23 July, 2009 OK... perhaps I should add.. think of me as Tony Pulis, but with a little less testosterone but more anticipation and a better footballing brain, and probably a lot more desire to play. (The last being an absolute prerequisite for women footie players..)
dubai_phil Posted 23 July, 2009 Posted 23 July, 2009 You've never seen me play! Well, after the post on the OTHER thread, I'd quite forgotten the football side of the meaning of play.......... Meanwhile, moving on from the thighs So we now have our squad numbers. Admin cost us 3 players - Surman, DMG and Dyer, as well as losing JPS Looking at the squad TODAY, and now having AP coming onboard. Would we have wanted to keep any of them to fit in to the new era? Assuming they could have been "talked" into staying
suewhistle Posted 23 July, 2009 Posted 23 July, 2009 Well, after the post on the OTHER thread, I'd quite forgotten the football side of the meaning of play.......... Meanwhile, moving on from the thighs Don't worry DP, buy me a pint of Pedigree or similar at the Millwall game (Brentford too!) and I'll let you cop a feel... Yeah, it's hard out there in the gulf, at least you aren't working in the Magic Kingdom ..
suewhistle Posted 23 July, 2009 Posted 23 July, 2009 Back to football though.. how long is Pulis' contract, and is it really worth him (or us) being further associated, even given contracts..?

Yeah, it's hard out there in the gulf, at least you aren't working in the Magic Kingdom .. Now there's an offer But unfortunately had a choice FP final or Millwall as a focal point for an urgent biz trip..... Footie games come around 40 times a year, Lords trips - damn
suewhistle Posted 24 July, 2009 Posted 24 July, 2009 Ego te absolvo, so don't worry about going to the cricket, I understand the beer tent is open longer.... The 'cop a feel' was only my thighs (I'm also a skier...) so don't get excited.. just because i'm not in a burqa.. Merda.. 2.30 in the morning..
SW11_Saint Posted 25 July, 2009 Posted 25 July, 2009 Is there a reason why Saga is number 4? I like an organised squad and it annoys me as number 4 should be reserved for a defender. In fact I feel so strongly that I now hope we get rid of saga ASAP so that a defender can have the number instead. 4 is a midfield number, always has been with Saints - Steve Williams, Nick Holmes etc. have worn it with distinction.
