Saint in Paradise Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 'I've only got 15 years then they'll be doing what I've been doing - they'll go out and I'll stay in and look after their kids.' Oh I bet you UK taxpayers are really looking forward to that then ?
St Landrew Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 Will help support Sion & her partner (sometime scaffolder and plasterer)Callum of Milton, Portsmoth Sian first became a Mum at 15 whilst at school and produced Jaden. Now at 18 she has young Tyler, Taylor , Levi and several tattoes to support. All good stuff ??? + 1. Irony. And I thought only Americans didn't get it. Perhaps we've a few people instilled with a little too much of the U.S. culture and not enough of the old UK stuff.
sotonswan Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 Tangentially related, on the subject of low European birth rates and Muslim Immigration I have no idea if the figures are REALLY accurate. But it and the above story does make you wonder how we got here.
doublesaint Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 People should be more concerned about the millions of pounds denied to the government and in effect 'you', by tax avoidance schemes of companies and wealthy individuals, rather than the easy targets.
saintwarwick Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 People should be more concerned about the millions of pounds denied to the government and in effect 'you', by tax avoidance schemes of companies and wealthy individuals, rather than the easy targets. I disagree, I hate millions of pounds being wasted on 'easy targets' as you call them, they are lazy scrounging tossers.
doublesaint Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 I disagree, I hate millions of pounds being wasted on 'easy targets' as you call them, they are lazy scrounging tossers. So you prefer your wasted millions to come from other sources, fair enough. The issue is what is the worse 'crime'.
Thedelldays Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 So you prefer your wasted millions to come from other sources, fair enough. The issue is what is the worse 'crime'. equally bad.. we should try and stop both..not leave one alone because the other is bad.
doublesaint Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 equally bad.. we should try and stop both..not leave one alone because the other is bad. I completely agree with that, just that the other side of the coin gets barely mentioned when discussing the benefit fraud or excessive claiming side of things.
Thedelldays Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 I completely agree with that, just that the other side of the coin gets barely mentioned when discussing the benefit fraud or excessive claiming side of things. are you joking..? have you missed the whole MP expense claim thing recently..?
doublesaint Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 are you joking..? have you missed the whole MP expense claim thing recently..? No, I was meaning individual and company tax avoidance as an example, not the MP's expenses
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 I pay tax but I don't care. I certainly don't earn too much so maybe I'm just not a tight arse?
Hatch Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 Scum, Should be forced to live in crappy tower blocks, about 20 to a room and given bread and water to live on.
saintwarwick Posted 22 July, 2009 Posted 22 July, 2009 So you prefer your wasted millions to come from other sources, fair enough. The issue is what is the worse 'crime'. As Thedelldays said they are both equally as bad.
Calvin Posted 24 July, 2009 Posted 24 July, 2009 The tax payers money always goes to waste every year, no wonder why we are ****ed.
pilsburydoughboy Posted 24 July, 2009 Posted 24 July, 2009 People should be more concerned about the millions of pounds denied to the government and in effect 'you', by tax avoidance schemes of companies and wealthy individuals, rather than the easy targets. Its the easy targets highlighted by the Daily Mail that blind people from the real drains on tax payers money.
