I was a ****ing brilliant golfer, gave up 4 years ago though. Played at the Dunwood links. Best course played for me is Mosa Trajectum in spain. If anyone wants to go on a golfing holiday around Murcia, I have a flat you can rent, with a golf course on site, which is also playing home to the international team matchplay or something, and the new 'best course in spain' as said by Miguel Angel Jiminez when he played it at the start of the year.

I dont play Poultons either.

It is gash

If we are playing with hackers (i.e double figure h'caps) then i spose the muni is best bet, greens are **** but hey ho. Could probably get a good deal the The County in west end, it is again crap but i no most of the people up there and could get a TSW society rate or summit.

Chew me

Played Greenwood / Dibden / Muni / Chilworth / Stoneham of the local courses.

Are S Winch and Romsey (Nursling!) worth a blast? Sounds like Wellow is not rated a lot.

Tell me Stoneham was your favourite?

S Winch is alright, pretty long

Romsey- short but tightish, decent condition

Try Waterlooville and or Hayling.

Blackmoor is very nice as well

play off 28 but not a hacker, my handicap should drop at the next society, it's not my hacking but being crap at putting that lets me down.

Don't mind where we play, but am up for it, lets not play somewhere too expensive just for the sake of it ??

I'm a member of S Winch which is a decent test of golf.

Paultons is in good nick, considering it is a pay and play course. Cams Hall ok. Soton muni would be a fantastic course with the right investment (particularly drainage).

Anyone who thinks that farmers field at East Horton is a good course is obviously not a golfer.

We need a poll.

There are hackers and there are double figure handicappers. Not necessarily the same thing.

Usually the same thing IMO

I have played Frimley Lodge Park 4 times this summer and use a putter off of all tees, bar the final hole. I have recorded back to back birdies, but didn't get a trophy ball.

Does that mean i can play of 31 then ??

Nah i'm not too bad, like i said, i am not too bad getting to the green, usually in regulation, then the bad puts come in.

Yeah, good with the irons, ok with the driver (keep it on fairway anyways) but usually 3 put't' or more.

And actually tried to train on it thurs and it buckled, but with no swelling or lack of movement or pain. Tis weird tbh.

Still waiting on MRI results, since 18th. If you'd PM'd me to ask how i was getting on, instead of posting unsubstantiated rumours :smt089

I still blame it on f*cking blades

Dunno, gonna go again tommorow, without blades and see how i go.

On physio advice, told netley manager not to expect much this season, gonna just flirt about and get fitter, though he still wants me to play a friendly sunday.

As for those studs, that would be awesome, will go back to studs whatever though.

Fair play, long as i don't have to play city f*cking central every week. It was basically Vosper's first team.

Never run so much in my life.

Have a word with yourself Steve. We both know they are not the same thing (unless by "double figures" you're talking about mid 20s and upwards.
