NickG Posted 19 July, 2009 Author Posted 19 July, 2009 can't think of another scenario that I would have dropped to this level, it was the fans and the owners that sold it to me.
RonManager Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 He speaks of a cunning plan that involves 'winning' games. If only I knew what the word meant!
miserableoldgit Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 Nah!! He is just ingratiating himself with the locals.
4737_carlin Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 Well lets hope he gets the financial backing as its needed bigtime.
lee_saint Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 Well lets hope he gets the financial backing as its needed bigtime. I'm sure he will, aslong as he brings in players that can do it in this league and even the Championship....all will be fine.
lee_saint Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 I like him more and more by the day! He's always been a half decent manager, but his record at Charlton has tarnished him a little, I'm glad that the new oweners have made a good appointment...
jam Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 can't think of another scenario that I would have dropped to this level, it was the fans and the owners that sold it to me. Maybe if he hadn't got binned by Charlton?
SFC Forever Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 It felt as though there was a lot of hope being rekindled on saturday. Hope that I expect to be realised in the next few years.
Polaroid Saint Posted 20 July, 2009 Posted 20 July, 2009 Maybe if he hadn't got binned by Charlton? charlton is to pardew as southampton is to redknapp. PS that's the first time I've not purposely misspelt or put astrisks in ol saggy jaw's name since 'the debacle'. I'm softening to history now...
tpbury Posted 20 July, 2009 Posted 20 July, 2009 Well, ****in hell gert in, GET IN, GET IN, WINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEREERRSSS!!!!
miserableoldgit Posted 20 July, 2009 Posted 20 July, 2009 Maybe if he hadn't got binned by Charlton? Aren`t Charlton at our level.
Clifford Nelson Posted 20 July, 2009 Posted 20 July, 2009 Alan Pardew is a manager I haven't given much thought to through the years if I'm honest, but his record is good and everything he has said so far fills me with confidence. He will have my full support and I hope that he is still here in years to come. The managerial merrygoround has caused us nothing but pain and hardship. Maybe we're at long last have done all the right things and that I can look forward to SMS not just for a game, but for winning games. I can hardly remember what that feels like.
