Another Lowe apology from the press

OK, you and others have no idea about my personal life and have no grasp whatsoever of the varying forms of mental health issues that go from alcoholism, anorexia through to self harming and schizophrenia and whole gamut of other issues covered under the umbrella of mild through to serious clinical depression.

Remember I was forced to reveal aspects of my life in defence of comments made against me that was given to someone I trusted and given in strict confidence. I wish that confidence hadn't been betrayed but in any event if it had it should not have led to this level of ridicule and speculation and had I a serious physical illness or handicap I doubt the abuse would be quite so fervent or amusing as many see it. Furthermore, as TDD mentioned if I was a poster with perhaps more populist beliefs and less challenging of the old guard then no doubt the whole thing wouldn't have come out in the first place.

So we get into the realms of suggesting I am insane with some of the references you and others are now using I suggest you ensure you are on solid ground as making what appears to be statements of fact could be considered libellous, defamatory or slander. I appreciate the laws on message boards are unproven and maybe akin to a conversation in the pub or the receipient of the abuse 'asked for it' by joining a closed circle but in this instance some of this stuff is clearly being discussed outside of this forum and regardless of that fact it is becoming increasingly damaging. Anyway the law maybe unclear but I do know one quite well networked legal exec who wouldn't mind looking into this type of issue. Especially when statements are written with definity such as yours and you clearly have no idea about me and set out purely to discredit and destroy because you don't like my point of view.

I enjoy the banter but some of this is going to another level entirely.

19C, I have no knowledge or interest in any medical or mental problems that you may have. I have every sympathy with anybody who suffers from these problems. My problem with you is that you deliberately make posts that you know will get a reaction, and in such a smug, antagonistic style that it is guaranteed to make certain that that reaction is somewhat akin to that of wasps in a nest when you poke it with a stick. If this is really how you get your enjoyment, then you must take the consequences - you reap what you sow. I personally enjoy debate and the honest exchange of views and can quite happily accept that my views might be different to somebody else, and agree to differ, but sadly you seem to choose views that are "anti-populist" on purpose. We have to live with the results of that and so must you.

I resent that. I am not looking to be confrontational, but reserve the right to disagree with posters who attempt to rewrite history or to present conjecture as fact, a fault that 19C has and which you sometimes share too. I have always tried to debate with reason.

Sorry but I disagree you as sometimes quite agressive in your postings

Perhaps confrontationally is not the right word.

But I totally agree with the sentiments of your post to reserve the right to disagree with posters who attempt to rewrite history or to present conjecture as fact.

Which is my point totally that is why I sometimes get involved because nobody can be totally wrong or even totally right.

The past is the past and people have different slants on it there are so many ifs and buts.

I still think that the way we were set up and because we had no significant backer and star players we were bound to be relegated from the Premiership

That was far from my intention just want all this aggro posting to stop.

I would suggest that apart from one individual who is intent on getting a reaction, then the vast majority of other posters would be of the same opinion.

In fact, elsewhere on the board I detect quite a mellow (even if we're all concerned at recent performances) response & attitude amongst posters.

There's a world of difference between having and espousing a different opinion and constantly seeking to provoke a reaction.

Shame, as a good board and some decent posters have been dragged down somewhat (myself included of course;)).

Fair enough. Perhaps I hold strong opinions on some things, but seldom deliberately set out to provoke just for the sport of it. There are few on here that I despise just because they hold a different viewpoint to mine; that is their prerogative and what the forum is all about.

But there are some trolls on here who do deliberately set out to antagonise others to gain a reaction and I hope that this activity will slowly die out now that the main subjects for their stirring have now left the club. At the moment, we are still in a transitory state and when the season begins in earnest, we will have other things to distract us. Like you, for me that time cannot come soon enough.

I agree but as a very sensible and knowledgable poster I still dont understand why you get involved as I have said before.

So do people really still think they are not the same person:rolleyes::rolleyes:

The mods on this site must be extremely dumb if they haven't sussed that out (no offence fellas, but you do have to be a tad stupid not to realise this).

Which then begs the question, why haven't the mods applied the follwoing from their own rules?

If you are stupid enough to earn yourself a ban, be it permanent or temporary, don't attempt to register a new username so you can carry on posting. If we find out (which we usually do), your new username(s) will also be permanently banned.

If they need a helping hand then they need only look at this thread where Nineteen is referring to ding dongs with Daren W when he was Sundance Beast.

Here's another one if you want where Nineteen is referring to the "Fashanu" incident which took place when he was posting as Sundance Beast.

http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=385844&highlight=fashanu#post385844

Maybe one of the mods could answer the question above as to why they are not enforcing their own rules?

Granty, Baj, Ponty, anyone care to answer????

For a group of people who helped track down rogue PR posters in Lowe's times and are pretty good and all this interweb jazz, you seem to be rather slow on this one;)

A very good point. Are the rules going to be applied in the correct manner? Or in Football League manner, i.e. the horse has bolted so we'll now shut the stable door?

It is down to those that made the rules to enforce them, those quoting the rules of the forum then asking questions of the mods seem desperate, if you don't like 19C utilise the ignore button and if you see another poster quoting those on your ignore list 'page down' got to be easier than going to the effort of responding to the poster who allegedly "spoils the thread" and whining for a mod to react to something YOU don't like.

Baiting is evident from all 'sides'

Sorry, this thread has nothing to do with the original post anymore and is being locked.

FTR. NC returned under the amnesty that was afforded to EVERY former user when we moved server. Several took advantage; some are still with us and some have amassed points again and been banned.

Regardless of anyone's opinion of a poster (and their opinion) unless they break the rules (not bend, flex, test or try) they cannot be infracted.

May I kindly suggest that some of you put NC on ignore if he gets under your skin so much as this e-vigilante 'ganging up' is getting pretty ugly.
