kpturner Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 Why doesn`t he just clear off.....The dutch ****.. I was just about to abuse you when I saw the smiley ;-)
eharty9 Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 my dad sat next to him and was chattin' away for ages he tells me!
chrisobee Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 I was just about to abuse you when I saw the smiley ;-) Ah, one missed smiley and the whole post appears totally different ! I have nothing but respect for the guy, good luck to him I say.
St.Jeweller Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 can he still play?? Pardew could do with a mid-field general
Ziggy Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 A good effort. Grace and dignity in difficult circumstances. Well done.
supergoose Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 Good on you Mark Wotte. I doubt many would have done a better job given the mess the club was in during his tenure. A true proffessional IMHO.
CLOTH EARS Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 I met him at the Totton game and had a really good chat with him, he was a genuinely nice guy.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 Seriously it is time for him to disappear. Don`t want anything from the previous "revolutionary" coaching set up hanging on around the place like a bad smell... Thanks Mark for what you did although in my opinion it was of very little use.
Rocker268 Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 I was wondering if he would follow the match today, because it was Ajax, so I have continued respect to him, hopefully he will get a job somewhere soon, he deserves one
sotonjoe Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 He probably still can't believe that he was handed a year's contract, did a week of preseason and then had the contract paid up in full! Has certainly conducted himself well though.
Navysaint Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 Good luck to him. I was in reception when Dennis Rofe and Stuart Grey walked in, Does Dennis still work at the club?
wheels Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 He's on a years 'gardening leave.' (his words, not mine) Still lives locally so was just 'taking in the game'
70's Mike Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 Always felt sorry for Wotte and JP they were set up for ridicule by Ruperts stupid comments about coaching and youngsters storming the CCC. NEVER had a chance because their boss was a pratt
parkgatesaint Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 Why would he not come and watch....he is effectively on paid garden leave and now dates a lovely Southampton lass...I thought he handled the takover delays and mess very well so good luck to him in my book.

Nineteen Canteen Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 At SMS today, absolute gentleman, was signing kids shirts and shaking hands with the fans. Are you watching Mr Pardew? I only saw him shake one old fan's hand and at the same time looked like he couldn't get away quick enough before acknowledging the crowd. Ex-Saints manager buys ticket - couldn't make it up.

Quite and I don't care if he did bring in England's most famous player at the time.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 (edited) Quite and I don't care if he did bring in England's most famous player at the time. Please enlighten me on who that was? Edit. Had re-think and realise you must mean Ryan Smith.. Edited 19 July, 2009 by ALWAYS_SFC
INFLUENCED.COM Posted 19 July, 2009 Posted 19 July, 2009 Please enlighten me on who that was? Think about it, as 19C will have you do with every post

Quite right too. Wotte may have a record of managerial failure which would make lesser men blush, but by god he can shake a hand when it's thrust in his general direction. How could the new owners have been so short-sighted?

ALWAYS_SFC Posted 20 July, 2009 Posted 20 July, 2009 Who is Ryan Smith :smt102 The one with "world class" skills....surely you remember...

Nineteen Canteen Posted 20 July, 2009 Posted 20 July, 2009 here we go again! didnt take you long did it Come on Mike where is your sense of humour? I think Pardew is potentially the best manager we have had since Hoddle and could become the greatest ever. Time will tell.
