Played golf, mate is Asst Pro and text me
There is no golf course in West End - apart from the Pitch and Putt by the Rose Bowl ;-) Did he say, "Hello, my name is Leroy Lita" to your mate or is he just guessing it was him? Did he sign in the guest book or summat?

Yes, the WEB is a hole.

I think Rasiak & John are already good enough but adding Lita to the forward line would be a mouthwatering prospect.

PS Isn't it great to be talking about players again rather than the boardroom!!

Yep but more than happy to see the back of John, Rasiak and Saga sorry new era lets get rid of the lot of them and start again, I feel they all believe they are above Div 1

I dont think lita will come here, not really likely is it.

We HAVE to keep one of John or Rasiak, key to really having a good push this season is a reliable 20+ goal striker, Rasiak or John fit this mould perfectly. Saga is way to inconsistent so not bothered if he leaves.

Well, SRS did say he saw him in the pool at David Lloyd today.

I don't believe this. First N'Guessen and now Pearson is after another of my HCDAJFUs in Lita. I'm pretty sure I touted Wayne Brown as a good signing a year ago and Richie Wellens is another I have suggested for years. No wonder I rated Pearson, he appears to see similar things in players as I do.

LEROY LITA is at the centre of a tug of war between QPR, promoted Leicester and Crystal Palace.

Former England Under-21 striker Lita, 24, is a free agent after leaving Reading last season and has had discussions with all three Championship clubs.

Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate is also weighing up a move.

He will just go where the most money is.

The idea of having Lita, Rasiak, Saga and Lallana available up front should be enough to get people through the gates on its own. Unfortunately I have doubts any of them will be here next season. This is all a bit Karsten Janker if you ask me.

Saga and Raziak have already stated they want out along with Stern meaning patterson is are only striker..... gulp :(

Well, as of right now Rasiak and Saga are still under contract to us, so there is no reason why one at least of them will not be in the starting line-up against Millwall. John was a different matter, he was out of contract and a free agent, so he has elected to go elsewhere. If a decent offer comes in for Ras or Saga I'm sure they will go as well, but I don;t anticipate they will do a Kenwyne and withhold their labour in the meantime. If one or both go I'm sure that Ap will bring in a replacement. So in summary as things stand we have 3 strikers, Rasiak, Saga and Paterson for the opening match.

Neither do I as we will sell if we get an offer - the sticking point and the reason they have not moved on has been their (high) wage demands IMHO.

Apparently so - personally I think it was to catch up with Murty as he was playing in his testimonial I believe.

He also spent most of last years Saturdays night in Oceana in Southampton.

He has friends here but he will have no interest in playing for us.

"our" only striker and we clearly still have 3 strikers. IF Rasiak and/or Saga are sold(they still have a contract and can't do what John did) then there is no reason why we won't sign a replacement..

If we bring in Billy Sharp he would need balls played acurately to his feet to be useful. This is because he is not very tall (5'9) and not very quick. If i remember correctly Sheff U play a lot of long ball, so Sharp was not suited to their game. So i would expect him to score many more goals in a team like ours than his current team.

Middlesbrough have won the race to sign Lita beating Sheffield United in the process.

It shows we've been setting our HCDAJFU sights high, but i'm happy with that. We should be setting our sights high for the future.

Sadly for the Sharp fans, it means United won't want to sell until they have a replacement.

It was in the People apparently, the most reliable of saw-sez. And picked up by the BBC gossip column. Guess it'll be announced tomorrow. Can't blame him for wanting to stay in the CCC. It seems Zak Whitbread and Jermaine Beckford wish the same.

It'll be mightily difficult to tempt players to join our revolution, but hopefully in AP we have the man to do it.

Why some credibility? It has zero credibility.

You have no idea at all who it was written by!

It could have been me trying to wind you up for all you know (it wasn't btw :D)

I have it on good authority that Pardew updates Wikipedia himself to release transfer rumours. See:

[link]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Pardew#Southampton[/link]

It says: "Alan Pardew regularly uses Wikipedia to leak potential transfer rumours to the public."

I don't see how, following this solid piece of evidence, anyone would doubt Lita joining the club on trial.
