SKATE_HATE Posted 18 July, 2009 Author Posted 18 July, 2009 ****ing great so they broadcast from the bloody stadium but aren't going to have live commentary? ******s!!!
sotonjoe Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 All I know is they have giggly little idents which slate Portsmouth.
ART Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 I can see BBC Radio Solent getting the job. All will depend on whether we remain independant or sign up for Premium Sport. I'd prefer we sign up for Premium Sport as they do a good deal.
sotonjoe Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 Don't Solent continue to do commentary anyway? But is that just for home games?
stevegrant Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 Solent will still be broadcasting home and away, as far as I'm aware.
Stepgar Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 the problem with Solent is that it is so bland - never any excitement. Never was Will Copes biggest fan but at least he would get excited every now and again.
saintjay77 Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 So will the online bit of Solent work this season if no other Radio station has broadcast rights?

Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 Great! What is the point in 'SaintsTV' if you can't listen to the match online?!!?
S-Clarke Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 TBH PlayRadio didn't buy radio Hampshire's licenses to ''continue from them...'', they acquired the licenses to start a completely new station, unconnected from them - i doubt very much if anything from the radio Hampshire days will be continued.

They do, however, make a big play (no pun intended) of being proud of having an SO post-code and have many anti-Skate "promos" so you would think that Saints would be a major part of their content, especially as they broadcast from SMS. Perhaps they are still finding their feet and negotiating.
westmidlandsaint Posted 18 July, 2009 Posted 18 July, 2009 Great! What is the point in 'SaintsTV' if you can't listen to the match online?!!? Totally agree the only reason I have subscribed to Saintstv is the fact that i live so far away and want to be able to listen to the games online. I really hope someone broadcasts commentary online for next season.
