You mean as opposed to the thousands of other rumours regularly posted on here. WGS was wishful thinking that most of us prayed for. As I said somewhere else - Heart = WGS, KK etc Head = AP is the RIGHT appointment.

Well, they've delivered Saints training kit to Strachan's house and everything so he must be being lined up as Pardews assistant.

 

Unless it was dirty kit and WGS is replacing Woggy.

I think we should compile a 'List of Shame' of all the so-called ITKers who post inaccurate , ridiculous , or just plain stoopid rumours on here so that the next time they mislead us with rubbish 'a mate who works for SFC told me' stuff we can consult it , review their previous crimes , and treat them with all the credibility (or lack of) they deserve .

 

As a corollary we should establish a 'Roll of Honour' for the small minority that actually get it right every now and then .

I think Liebherr has proven with his 'behind doors' conduct, both in terms of his bid for the club and his subsequent 'surprise' managerial appointment, that the age of people on here supposedly being ITK is well and truely over.

 

Perhaps we should have a ceremonial burning of the monkey chicken petting zoo plan outside St Mary's tomorrow to mark the official end of the ITK era?

Just a kind of Hysteria I would have thought.

 

 

Nothing that was said by the new lot suggested that Strahan was in the frame in the least especially as they wanted a completely clean start

I will hold my hand up and say I have been taken on a ride by someone, but I think it just goes to show that the club have done so well to keep this water tight. I will no longer be listening to any romours that come from a certain person that is for sure.

 

But I did hear that.... no I am not even going to go there.

 

Alan Pardew is a great appointment no question at all!!

God - this is all so serious. I only come here for the rumours, that's the most fun thing about football and fottball message boards. More outrageous ITKs the better in my opinion.

 

Ok then, Tony Adams was only seen at the club as he will be coming in as a defence coach, and not manager.

I think that rumours are what makes sites like this worth reading.

Just because they don't come fruition does not mean there was never any truth in them.

Being a saints fan has been a shockingly upsetting affair for the past five and a half years.

Why can't we indulge in a bit of dilusional fantasy manager speculation.

Some people post rumours they have heard and genuinely believe, some people make things up, it is up to you if you believe what is written.

....now THAT wouldn't surprise me .. but probably not.

Pardew will want to steer the ship himself.

Don't get me wrong, I like WGS but an eventual DOF might have to be someone a bit "more special ".
