Jurgen is involved with soccer solutions and "often acts within an advisory role" to business and is quoted below on his remit for soccer solutions

By working on various projects related to event management, market analysis, the development of marketing plans, plans for youth development, grassroots program development and implementation with prominent sponsors, business development plans for diverse companies seeking to capitalize on their position in the soccer market etc., Jürgen has picked up a business skill-set and approach that few soccer managers/coaches can claim to have developed.

If we spend big dollar on Klinsman as a consultant to find a manager and then end up with Pardew.......

Considering he got one of the worst German teams i've seen in a while in terms of talent to the semi-finals of the world cup through sheer enthusiasm, passion and making the most of fan support I think we could do a helluva lot worse

Apparently there weren't the worst team......

i agree fully with you though

Yeah Ballack, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Metzelder etc are rubbish  . Most countries would kill to have some of the players Germany had. They're the same players who got to the Euro 2008 final without Klinsmann, and without being on home soil

TBF, Austria is pretty much home soil for ze Germans ;-)

What's you're problem with what I've said c*nt? I guarantee I know 10 times more than you'll ever know about football. You think you're a well respected member of this board who knows everything and people value your opinion, but you are really quite clueless, not to mention rather dull. I know someone who know's you in real life and they say you're a pathetic lonely loser, Reynolds.

LOL, you've just made yourself sound like a right gimp.....surely knowing '10 times more than you'll ever know about football' makes you a pathetic lonely loser too? But please don't insult me, I might just cry.....Awooga!

Most of the German team these days isn't 'German'....Klose is Polish, and even changed his name from Kloze to 'fit in'

OK This is a total gut feeling and it could be dementia inspired by a huge lack of sleep over the last fortnight *(new baby in the family) but I now predict that it will transpire that **Jurgen is a close friend of our new owner, which could lead to some interesting developments......

* Congrats Greg, congrats.

** amongst others, including Franz Beckenbauer (sp), but that would be an 'interesting development wouldn't it.

Klose

Podolski

Borowski

and Trochowski all are Polish and Klose and Podolski even speak to each other in Polish whilst playing for ze Germans.

and no, Ballack, Metzelder and Podolski aren't rubbish but they certainly aren't that good either. Most people had the Germans down to go out in the round of 16 against whoever they wound up against, England or Sweden.

Truth is there were several vastly superior teams in that world cup to them and on paper German certainly weren't the 3rd best.

However, as they finished third, they overachieved = success on Klinsmann's part
