StInky Posted 16 July, 2009 Posted 16 July, 2009 No, I think it was one of my colleagues wives, probably a rep for Guinness. Is he a Mormon?

astrasri Posted 16 July, 2009 Posted 16 July, 2009 I don't know the answer to the original question, but I do think it is a pleasure to see this thread develop.....it's good to have light - hearted fun after all the bitterness posted over the last.... (add your own time span). Cheers Guys and Girls let's keep the fun going on this board.
Polaroid Saint Posted 16 July, 2009 Posted 16 July, 2009 (edited) See girls, give up the LP, it makes you indecisive or at best non-committal. I have never been a fan of beer drinking women myself, although I did have one who was into Guinness because someone told her it was an effective bust developer. Aoooh!? Beer drinking women are the best. My girl loves her ale. Although she only drinks Guinness if she is ill (good for iron, blood pressure, white cell count etc) or abroad. Bust developer you say? Hmmm. So, either we move to Ireland or I convince her she's looking a bit peaky every friday before the pub? Latest opinion is; "It might not be Strachan, or it might be, I dunno. Look why don't you just wait till the game on saturday and give me a hand with the Chickens?"* Edited 16 July, 2009 by Polaroid Saint *we've just got some chickens. probably not relevent to everyone else, so I'd thought I'd explain that bit.

martyg1950 Posted 16 July, 2009 Posted 16 July, 2009 Thing is there are 2 schools of thought on this and if you represent them as a simple equation - bearing in mind it's a looooong time since I did any maths - you get YES + NO = YES + NO So if you resolve that (or whatever it was we used to do to equations back in the dark days before we had clever computers to do this all for us) It all seems to cancel out and leave you with er..... Maybe? ...and i've completely forgotten what the question was, so I'm in the pints of pride camp - but you have to be a girl apparently - I'll get me coat.....

the saint in winchester Posted 17 July, 2009 Posted 17 July, 2009 I may be wrong, but I don't think it's Strachan. Here's a name out of left field - how would y'all feel if someone like ALAN PARDEW got the job? Remember where you read it first.

the saint in winchester Posted 17 July, 2009 Posted 17 July, 2009 Aw shucks, guys, thanks. Truth is .. I heard it on the radio ... on the radio, oh oh ah, on the radio (one for the Donna Summer fans amongst us) .... have to say I awoke with a start this morning when they named him. My son said it was also on the Radio 1 news, so there may be some truth in the rumour .... If there's any other rumours I can clear up - like who Tevez will sign for .. let me know. :-)
