...and in that spirit, I wonder if, like me, you have started to make a list?

One of my favourite moments of recent times was the visit of Spurs to St. Mary's in the FA Cup tie. The sight of Hoddle retreating into the tunnel, as they were spanked 4:0 was nearly on a par with the hammering we gave them at White Hart Lane, shortly before he was sacked. (apologies to Dalek 2003)

Now that we are stable, have a promising future and will come up against clubs and managers that have done us wrong, which will give you the greatest pleasure to beat to a pulp (figuratively speaking, of course).

I will get the first dream for all of us, out of the way first:

  1. Pompey away - last game of the season - Saints send them crashing out of the 2010-2011 Championship League, back to Division 1 and a 10 point penalty for being bankrupt and a further 15 points for good measure for financial irregularities. They eventually apply to the Blue Square League and get rejected for having a cr @p ground...

So many more...Mandaric, Spurs, Redknapp, Leeds, Roy Keane.....I must have missed a few...

I would like to be 1-0 up in injury time and have BWP through on goal against us.

No, because the law of unjustified late goals scored against us by ex-players far outweighs the law of BWP one on one, cow's arse and banjo!

Revenge over Pompey without a shadow of a doubt. I want us to effectively relegate them at St Marys and rub it in like they did to us.

The Japanese have a word in quality circles called Kaizen meaning small steps....so to start with I would love us to ram the words of the Orient chairman back down his throat.

Then onto Milan in CCC then onto our beloved Fishy ones again in the Prem.

Bournemouth for all the bile from their fans with our admin and relegation - preferably in the JPT final.

The skates for the aforementioned reasons.

Roy Keane for 2005 - thrashing Ipswich 7-0 at Portman Road followed by his swift sacking would be good!

God how true!!

I used to hate it when we got on the back of our ex players.

Leyton Orient - shut Barry Hearn up. He is going to take some serious stick this season.

Derby - last season's Pride Park win was good but I really want to cane them 5-0 or so

Ipswich - teach Keane some manners

Skates - enough said

I would prefer to relegate them at decaying Fratton Park in revenge of the time we lost and Killer suffered his dreadful injury, pre-match. That was the time when the tide turned against us.

I'd like us to be 3-0 down at Elland Road with 20 minutes to go - and win 3-4. Ideally, our second goal would start from a dodgy free kick awarded to us, which we would take 20 meters further upfield than the incident occured, with the ball still moving.
