Harris Not Happy With Fry

LC paid the £500,000+.

He then became part of Pinnacle.

Pinnacle weren't what they then claimed.

OK, fair enough. I think it's pretty clear that Pinnacle weren't what they claimed, and this is also a good indication of that. But the money was paid, which was what Mark Fry wanted as it allowed wages to be paid. The post I was answering suggested (well, stated actually) that Pinnacle had gained exclusivity without paying anything.

Incidentally, was your information from the horse's mouth, as it were? Not doubting you on it, just wondering. I know you had some inside knowledge on what happened with the Pinnacle bid.

Fair play to Leon but I hope he was fully prepared to lose that money when he did that. Very foolish otherwise.

There was a bit in The Pink on Saturday where Fry claimed that had it not been for Crouch's financial support, then he doubted we would have got through the situation.

Haven't seen any mention of the interview on here (although was out of circualtion for a bit at the weekend) but would put the main bits up if it's not been covered already.

The European division of Portsmouth FC shirt suppliers Canterbury is expected to go

into administration this morning.

It's understood Portsmouth have yet to receive all their kit for next season, while former club owner Alex Gaydamak has lost significant money by investing in Canterbury shops that have already closed.

:)

BRILLLLLLLL !!!

Hope their rich Arab can buy a new set of shirts etc..

Crouch has certainly helped out Saints funding quite a lot in recent yeas, but this has been the most crucial. Without it it seems we would not have been able to pay players wages, and that would have been the end of SFC.

tell them to p!ss off. we have our club back on sure footings - and Fry takes some credit for that.

Frankly, any other parties winging about the way the deal went through obviously does not have our club's best interest at heart so they can just go and jump...

Another missive straight from the pen of Charlie Sale with Rupert Lowe's fingerprints all over it. This is all the evidence I need to be sure that Lowe was in amongst Harris's bid.

HEY, RUPERT - NO-ONE IS LISTENING !!!

Keith Harris had three years to sell the club and failed miserably - he can f**k off.

Maybe he shouldnt have done so many summer seasons at Clacton-on-Sea pier with a luminous green bog-brush on his arm...

I really don't think Lowe was involved with Harris, as past spats have shown there to be little love lost between the pair of them (unless either of them did a Wildesque about turn).

Instead this swipe by Sale (probably fed by Lowe) against Fry is Lowe's attempt at getting back at the bloke who unceremonioulsy dumped him out of the Club (Saturday's Echo had more on that).
