is it possible to put a figure in 1 field and for it to duplicate it to 10 or more other fields?

 

If so can you explain how please

Don't know if I am missing something here but can't you just use absolute cell references.

E.g =$C$11

 

Then what ever is in C11 will be in every cell with the above formula. Then whenever you change C11, all cells duplicating it will change.

you can drag from cell 1 down 10 cells

wait for the cursor in the corner of the cell (bottom right) to change from thick white cross to thin black and then click and drag from black cross in corner... it will also duplicate the function for that box across the cells HTH

This doesnt really require an Excel expert, just someone who has used a spreadsheet before, once.
