I would love to see Strachan back here but can`t see it in a million years think peoples expectations are too high.

The trouble with expecting too much is the disappointment factor come on guys let`s be realistic.

Unfortunatley I agree. Perhaps the reason the Echo are reporting that he is not even on the the list of options is the fact WGS has already said NO ?

But I would really love it if he did return :-)

Dated 5th July and talks about the Le Tissier backed Pinnacle group! We should indeed not read anything into that article!

Trust " The People" to get it wrong!

In reading their article you'd think that Pinnacle had made the takeover not Markus Liebherr....

(However if true - a lot of people will have lost their stakes on a Strachan management team. - another coup for the Bookies ? )

Gordon Strachan would probably be welcomed with open arms by two thirds of the Premiership teams. Why oh why would he want to come back to Southampton?

My feeling is that Strachan will be DOF, with a talented young (but experienced) manager or coach in charge of the team.

Or that, he will be given the manager's job and in couple of years move up to DOF.

So, Gordon Strachan and Nigel Pearson it is then.
