1976_Child Posted 10 July, 2009 Author Posted 10 July, 2009 Please define 'yoof'. pubic hair, but still in kiddy mode. sort of people who rush over to the dividing barrier thinking they is 'ard as nails and try and goad the away fans into a reaction. You know the sort.

westofshannonsaint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 My last game at SMS was stoke the season before last, we were in the Northam & it was my Mrs' first time at a game, she was stunned at how vocal the abuse we gave Fuller, especially after the "racism aint Saintly" announcement (i did explain that the Skates are a different species, so it's not racist) anyhow, we noticed that sat infront of us was a bloke with his 2 kid, the game was quite dull, and the young girl spent the first half sucking her thumb, snuggled into her Da. During the second half after Saints scored & when the Northam was rocking, Fuller went down & was on the ground for no more than 10 seconds when the little girl shouted with all her might "LET HIM DIE " I still laugh when I think about it now.

RedAndWhite91 Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Coleslaw - an attempt at making cabbage taste nice. A successful attempt if I may say so myself.
Saint Luke Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 You have to let the kids in so that they can grow up to be future Northamers rather than plastic Mancs or china Chelski's
thesaint sfc Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Would be boring without the yoof tbh. I fully accept that they are the dregs of our society, but they do often get the chants going. Agree with women, although I've heard many funny chants when a woman has said something stupid or fallen over. Kids are the future of the club. It's great to see a late 40's year old man shouting, swearing and bursting a vain screaming with his 11 year old son stood next to him learning what he has to do in the future.

RedAndWhite91 Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Couldn't we apply the no "yoof" thing to the whole ground? And what about the grown men who cause problems?

Northam is full of pikeys.
saintjinksie Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 there are a couple of hotties that sit in the Northam every week. Please dont take them away!!! Really?
hamster Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 We're The Itchen, we're The Itchen, we're The Itchen over 'ere. This season can we not do this proper and stfu whilst the Chapel and Kingsland join in? Well maybe not the Slumberland.
rocknrollman no2 Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Mate you are a brave man for saying no women in the Northam. My wife, mother in law and an assortment of other female friends all stand(never sit)in the Northam and they are right next to the away fans(who they give lots of abuse to). I would never even show them this thread because they would get so mad,my computer would be thrown against the wall and people would die. Im off now to do the housework and get my wife a g and t.
J Bizzle Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Really? The hottest girl ever in football history is the mystery girl that used to sit in block 1.
benjii Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Anyone who bangs the seats up and down should be taken away and experimented on.
s0108787 Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 I am considering getting a season ticket this year. Having been an occasional visitor to all areas of the ground at one time or another, I would only consider being in the Northam, the rest of the ground is like a morgue most of the time. I prefer the view from the halfway line but the atmosphere is the best part of football matches so i'm the northam all the way. No problem with women and kids being there at all. At least they make some noise unlike those elsewhere in the ground.
John Boy Saint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Anyone who bangs the seats up and down should be taken away and experimented on. So should their parents who are invariably sat next to them. This has to be the best suggestion of the day.
