My work place has a major lift with the Saints fans fighting back. We have over 100 blokes where at least 10 are Saints fans.

 

To see the smiles on our faces is surreal.

I have issued a memo telling everyone that we were bought out and I have a number of the boys singing the tune 'Pheonix from the flames' on site, as done by Skinner and Bladeblub on Fantasy Football. I have also institutes a work tradition of walking past anyone from Portsmouth, sticking your nose in the air and saying, in a Brummie accent, 'We are considerably richer than yow!!!'

 

A little bit childish I know from a member of senior management, but it gets me through the day, especially regarding those that laughed when we got relegated, and issued -10, and looked to be folding.

 

And as for ****ing on the fires, if you don't want to take part, then go away and play with someone else, or yourself.

I told my newcastle mate we were thinking of purchasing them with some loose change and turning them into southampton B. A fantastic end to the week it has been!
