Red&White Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 The Sun is a comic but I love it ! The guardian for a serious read not as boring as the rest. COYR
Mole Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 Yes, I know. I can read a paper with words that have more than three syllables in. Unlike you, racist boy. And the Guardian fits in nicely with your dull persona.
Junction 9 Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 It's amazing how many people have spelt Guardian wrong on this thread.
Robsk II Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 I will surprise everyone by saying I read the Guardian and Observer, failing that the Independent. Anything else only for either amusement, or to remind me why I hate most people.
Mole Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 I will surprise everyone by saying I read the Guardian and Observer, failing that the Independent. Anything else only for either amusement, or to remind me why I hate most people. It surprises me. Newspapers are made of paper. What about the poor tree?
Deppo Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 Mole reads The Express because he's a Diana obsessive. The Queen of his heart.
Thedelldays Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 Mole reads The Express because he's a Diana obsessive. The Queen of his heart. he has all the commemorative plates
Robsk II Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 It surprises me. Newspapers are made of paper. What about the poor tree? Well, provided paper is used in a fairly responsible and sustainable way, i have no issue. How could anyone argue with that? Oh..
St Landrew Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 I don't usually as there is plenty enough news online. I don't want newspaper opinion or speculation, just the facts [ma'am], as I am quite able to make up my own mind without being led. Besides, relying on newspaper opinion to guide an opinion ends in lazy thinking. If I do want to read a newspaper especially, it is more likely to be The Guardian and/or The Observer. Perhaps once or twice a year only though, maybe less. My 94 year old Mum occasionally gets The Daily Express or even The Daily Mail bought for her by other relatives, as she isn't a silver surfer. If I've ever peeped between their pages for the odd comment, I've found the ultra right-wing bias quite disturbing.
Mole Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 Mole reads The Express because he's a Diana obsessive. The Queen of his heart. You must be joking. I have no time for the slapper.
Junction 9 Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 Did you know she passed away? What????? First Jacko now this.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 Mole reads The Express because he's a Diana obsessive. The Queen of his heart. he has all the commemorative plates And spoons?
Mole Posted 12 July, 2009 Posted 12 July, 2009 And spoons? I do collect spoons, but not comemorative tat. Mainly old english/hanoverian pattern (1720 - 1820 ish period). I do have a few fiddle backs, but they aren't my specialist area.
