Hatch Posted 10 July, 2009 Share Posted 10 July, 2009 We all had one. None of mine ever tried to kill me though. Although the Chemistry teacher came close to considering it once. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/nottinghamshire/8143783.stm

TopGun Posted 10 July, 2009 Share Posted 10 July, 2009 My physics teacher had a breakdown also. Can't say I felt too much sympathy for him.
tpbury Posted 10 July, 2009 Share Posted 10 July, 2009 I do feel sorry for today's teachers (and indeed those from 25 years ago - I didn't participate in giving them mental breakdowns, but was quite amused when others did!). However, from reading the Daily Mail website, this is far more than chucking a board rubber or a clip round the ear, it sounds like he's gone completely mental, dragging the lad away in a headlock then clocking him with the weight (all of course alleged in the paper), also beating off other kids who tried to help (allegedly). It would have shut the class up at least!

1976_Child Posted 10 July, 2009 Share Posted 10 July, 2009 Now if teachers were still allowed to cane these unruly little sh!tsters then perhaps they would not flip like this. Not condoning the teacher's actions but he was obviously wound right up by this punk and no doubt the school had no ability to discipline the brat. If he had had six of the best once a while he would have learned his place.
thesaint sfc Posted 10 July, 2009 Share Posted 10 July, 2009 My science teacher went absolute ape **** at me once. He said not to mix 2 different chemicals together and I asked why. He said I was being argumentative. I said to him that as a teacher, I thought that he was supposed to answer questions like that. He said he would never teach me again and threatened to leave his job if I didn't get changed to a different teaching set. The whole class ended up getting moved to a different teacher so that I didn't need to move teaching set and he didn't have to teach me again. Odd chap. Best one I did was explode one of those ink cartridges you get in a fountain pen over a teachers back without her noticing. *chuckle* It was all over her clothes, jeans and her hair. The class were in hysterics and she still didn't suss it.
Al de Man Posted 10 July, 2009 Share Posted 10 July, 2009 On a non-uniform day once some kids sprayed some silly string in a maths teachers hair and he went ape-sh*t screaming and throwing fists but didn't connect. We were quite quiet and well behaved for the rest of that class.
