1976_Child Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Matchday tickets at £22  Isn't that kinda steep for some of the opposition we can look forward to? However an adult and under 16 pair is pretty reasonable Brighton charge £30 a ticket in their crappy 'stadium'
corsacar saint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 First in queue, back home with my new season ticket by 9.30 am.[Had a season ticket a couple of seasons a go].
Master Bates Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Anyone know if we can pay in installments yet? I've e.mailed ticket office twice but they're too busy The answer is yes but you have to pay a deposit, or no season ticket
Barry Horne Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 With the Chapel now being the family centre does that mean that those you sat there with there grown up family can no longer do so. Due to my Leukaemia I can not stand for a whole game, so the Northam is out for me, and have sat with my 2 sons (21 and 14) in the Chapel since SMS opened. No, it's fine for you to stay where you are. You can get a pair for you and your 14-year-old, which I think will work out cheaper, and your older son gets his own. I've just renewed my two STs in the same seats I've always had and got my nine and six-year-old tickets with us for the first time. They've been memebers for last three years and came to most games last year. This year, the whole cost for all of us is just £480, which is fantastic value IMO. I will be emailing Mr Luker to let him know how pleased I am!
SP Saint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Anyone know how long the queues are at the Ticket Office at the moment?
Master Bates Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Anyone know how long the queues are at the Ticket Office at the moment? I only had to queue 10/15 mins to be told I couldn't renew yet.

Really is a top bloke, as far as customer service is concerned
ladysaint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 I only had to queue 10/15 mins to be told I couldn't renew yet. Why couldnt you renew then?
SP Saint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 I only had to queue 10/15 mins to be told I couldn't renew yet. Cheers MB - I'll be there later then.
Ashby Saint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Naive question but under ST options what does Pair mean (for example, 8 Pair) - it can't mean two tickets for under 8s as this is more than twice the price. Is it an adult plus an under eight?
Master Bates Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Why couldnt you renew then? I didn't have the £57 deposit. I will have it in about an hour though, selling some of my Saints memorabilia, just waiting for some one to come round me house.
saint1977 Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Might upgrade to a centre ST this time. Will be buying even though I'll miss all the midweek games due to work, it is better financially and whenever I haven't had an ST, queuing for flipping ages on the day in the cold is a pain.
THINWHITEDUKE Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Got mine and fathers double quick time at 9.25 this morning, they are training new staff so it's pot luck whether you get trainee or not.The boss man (David Luker?) buzzing about answering queries and generally sorting everyone out wherever possible, a real buzz about the place, queues not too bad I thought for that time of morning. Good luck everyone and of course COYR!!
Burger Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 just phoned - got straight through - ST and free Ajax ticket sorted
Tractor_Saint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Naive question but under ST options what does Pair mean (for example, 8 Pair) - it can't mean two tickets for under 8s as this is more than twice the price. Is it an adult plus an under eight? 8 pair = 1 x Adult ticket & 1 x Under 8 ticket. (i.e Under 8 child is free). Bargain!
Chez Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 great reading this thread and seeing the interest levels rising. I am dissapointed that blocks 1,2 and 3 are not open. This deicison ****ed off a lot of fans last season and the new regime's suggestion that they want to re-engage with fans appears to be just talk. The noise that these blocks generate is extremely important. A noisy ground improves the atmosphere no end and it's this that will attract fans back and not dare I say it the 3rd tier football they saw. This is an error.

Nexstar Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Anyone who's already got theirs, what type of travel discount is there? Just the Blue Star cheap day riders, or anything new?

Katalinic Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Has anyone asked the Ticket Office how many ST's sold so far?
trousers Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 8 pair = 1 x Adult ticket & 1 x Under 8 ticket. (i.e Under 8 child is free). Bargain! What proof of age does one need to provide when buying kids tickets? (genuine question so I don't have a wasted journey)

Nexstar Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Anyone? What are the details of the travel voucher on the ST?
Toomer Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Anyone? What are the details of the travel voucher on the ST? Had a quick glance they look the same as last season.
Nexstar Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Had a quick glance they look the same as last season. Urgh, ok cheers.
Northam Girls Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Has anyone asked the Ticket Office how many ST's sold so far? Radio Solent have just said 1400 sold today :-)
surrey1saint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Radio Solent have just said 1400 sold today :-) Looking good!
Katalinic Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Radio Solent have just said 1400 sold today :-) Excellent start, just wait for the rush when the big name manager and signings start rolling in
trousers Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Radio Solent have just said 1400 sold today :-) So, around a quarter of a million pounds worth? If only we'd starting selling them months ago....
70's Mike Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Apparently > OS it's a record first day sales... to be fair though we have never sold season tickets this way, in such a short time spell
Ziggy Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Just got through very easily and renewed mine and my son's. Lovely!!!
beatlesaint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Just phoned and got mine straight away plus the freebie Ajax ticket. For anyone who has gone up and got them in person are they in the form of a booklet again or have they gone back to the credit card style plastic variety ?
Junction 9 Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 The website says it's quicker to do it in person than phone or online. Just renewed online in about 30 seconds, not sure what they mean.

Booklet with individual tear off matchday tickets.
Junction 9 Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 because they can hand you the ticket rather than organizing posting it They way they have worded it doesn't make it clear. Makes it sound like the online sales are running so slow you might as well drive down and queue. I'm not fussed when it actually arrives really.

beatlesaint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Booklet with individual tear off matchday tickets. Thankyou

On the other thread it suggests that Dave Luker's people have fixed the earlier problems, therefore you may have been lucky with your timing.

SaintRobbie Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 OS says we just had a record breaking day of ST sales! Put that in your pipe and smoke it 19 Canteen! Amazing what can happen when you lose an incompetent chairman.
