Johnny Bognor Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 I hope he doesnt live to regret sitting in the stands if things dont go well, especially if gets to sit nextr to some from on here. Indeed, there is a risk of death by boredom.
charlie saint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 "Liebherr has stated that he intends to buy a season ticket at St Mary's - rather than take a free place in the director's box - and the Swiss expects senior staff at the club to make a similar committment and buy their own seats to watch the Coca-Cola League One club's home games" Read this carefully, and tell me it says he's not going to sit in the directors' box. You know, so that no-one can come back after the first home game and call him a hypocrite. Too much "man o' the people, like" would be much too Mike Ashley, anyway.
Scudamore Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Can only see Tony coming here as part of the 'wider strategic plan', i.e academy director or a similar role You want recovering alcoholic Tony Adams (and by the looks of some of his tv appearances not recovering that successfully) to look after our academy?
Draino76 Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 See someone said Klinsmann has been spotted at Southampton airport in the comments bit. Nice.
Mole Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Yeah will love it if Judas Richards and Askham have to buy tickets ! We all know that ain't gonna happen, after all that would mean putting some money into the club. Now that's something they're alergic to.... To their credit they both DID make a donation to the club this summer, UNLIKE Rupert Lowe and Michael Wilde.
westofshannonsaint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 (edited) I like the idea that all senior staff will be asked to pay for tickets yep, ten they can have the same feeling of "i've paid to watch this" Great but don't drink a pint in one!! or Queue. I would imagine he will still sit in the directors box, better facilities, beer, and seats (and away from the nutters) but is just making the point that the directors should have to cough up the same as the fans. I don't think that you'll see him at a Saints game ever again. True I don't think he will be a regular, but he will probably pop in if we are in the playoff final or draw one of the big 4/pompey in either of the cups. I do think he will get to more games than me Edited 10 July, 2009 by westofshannonsaint ooohhh - now that I have paid my fiver I can edit my post's.
leehoudini Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 But wouldn't a cheque of been more useful before we went into admin? However I do concede that he no doubt put money into the club and my comment should of been more directed to the other party perhaps? Er no, cos then he'd have bought a club with £30m of debt as opposed to one that's debt free.
the saint in winchester Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 'Liebherr has stated that he intends to buy a season ticket at St Mary's - rather than take a free place in the director's box - and the Swiss expects senior staff at the club to make a similar committment and buy their own seats to watch the Coca-Cola League One club's home games. ' can I have his seat then....? Of course, the fella Ashley up at why-aye Newcastle adopted the same policy, was soon as popular as a rattlesnake in a lucky dip (admittedly for supping a pint in his seat) and now he can't wait to sell up. Mind you, he's welcome to get the beers in at half time.
