"Le Tiss is gonna sign on for another season and wear the number 7 shirt..."

...oh sorry i just woke up, what was the question!!?

I reckon he'd still do a job for us...remember how good he was against Celtic this time last season!!

I think it could be a surprise addition to the squad someone who we never thought would come to Southampton.

Kelvin? unusual but I like it!

We'll have to name someone in the number 7 shirt unless we're given permission to "retire" it, as FL rules state that squad numbers should be consecutive when submitted for the forthcoming season.

Which is the reason why we had stupidity like Viafara wearing both the number 23 and 16 shirts, even though the kit was exactly the same both seasons, and Idiakez wearing 14 and 27... fat lot of good it did him.

So, there WILL be a number 7, unless the League says we don't have to use it, or maybe if we actually register someone who isn't going to play to have the number... like, um, how about Le Tiss ?

There are various teams in the lower leagues who've saved #12 for their fans though, so maybe we can do the same with 7, if we REALLY have to do something like this.

Oh yeah, and Leeds retired number 15 when they had a 15 point deduction, how about we retire number 10, hell, Jermaine Wright's worn it... or er, God forbid maybe Poke might want to give up #25 ?
