How many swiss themed parties are taking place tonight?

I'm currently leathered on Champagne eating swiss roll, toblerone, emmental, lindt and milka

 

Wondered if anyone else had been weird enough to do something similar?!

Am wandering round Portland in my classic long sleeved striped saint shirt (le tissier 7), looking for Swiss beer... Had to settle in the end for trumer pilsner which is brewed in salzburg, Austria.. And yes have just bought some toblerone from world market!

 

Just so relieved and happy, don't care that everyone else in this bar is dressed to the nines and I have a bright red and white striped shiny football shirt on..

We should organise a big celebration for 1st August - Swiss national day. I'd offer, but I'll be visitng family ...... in Switzerland!

 

If you're looking for a good beer I can suggest Feldschlossen. Unbeleivably, the Swiss do not eat Swiss roll and don't even know what it is.

Here in Basel I prefer Wartek or Unser Bier and yes you can buy Swiss rolls in either Migros or Coop.

 

Wore my colours around yesterday in town and across the border in Germany. Just got funny looks as usual.
