There should be a 'Don't care / Not bothered' option.

But... I voted yes. It's another income stream and it gives fans something to buy into even if they can't afford or justify a season ticket.

You're right - I can't commit to a season ticket but I want somehow to show my loyalty to the club and to be recognised by the club as a loyal fan - membership achieves this imo

Memberships raise vital cash to help run the club, we can't expect our new sugar daddy to pay for everything so its a good way to ' do our bit '.

I can't get to enough games to make it worth buying a season ticket and memberships give me the ability to buy tickets online.

Also, who says we won't get full houses ? A good cup run or play offs and those memberships could be vital to get tickets.

Finally, my membership says something about me, it gives me allegiance to my club, my vote is a resounding yes :)

The membership gets you into the Dell ball at the stadium as well and discounts in the shop. I think they could easily extend this maybe to include membership to the Saints TV. Or they could set up a special Saints membership forum, where members can be consulted for various things at the club. Season Ticket holders should get membership included. Which hasn't been the case before.

Not without offering a huge range of additional benefits, but why bother when there's no physcial need for them?

There is no physical need for face cream and all that ********, so why do boots sell it?

How is face cream like membership to a football club?
It isn't. My point was if people want to buy something and you can make some money selling it to them, why worry yourself about whether or not the consumer 'needs' them?
