I miss Ho sometimes.

Come on, pay the £5, you know you want to. If £32 for a Championship game isn't a problem to you, then paying a fiver for you to release all you frustration on us is a bargin!

Surely we have enough of our own tw*ts? I suspect the corpulent whore is so myopic that it can spout groundless, mindless pap in any open space so paying a fiver to do so is a step too far.

Youth team, chuckle...£32 to stand in a toilet watching poo swirl round, chuckle...your first team being beaten by a team that managed to stay in the league by the thinnest thread last year and then finding out that the elite down the road won and had 30 odd percent more supporters there...begins to laugh out loud....realising that once again you've been shafted by another set of dodgy, potless foreigners whilst still (not) paying for the last lots' debris...rolling about!!

I'd pay the fiver for it but the fun's there without the obnoxious creep anyway:lol:

Sam magri, who was the England U17 captain is also a very highly rated defender and is on the fringes of the squad

So why was he not on the bench for the Barnet match then?

Shame we'll have to wait 24 hours for an answer to that one... although I feel it might be a bit longer than that before whores back on here! You would have expected a first round game at home against a L2 team which barely survived last season would have been an ideal opportunity to give some experience to their highly rated youngsters but what do we know, although Williams did get 17 mins... still at least the first team did so well without the youngsters.

On another Board it was suggested that the problem is that we are trying to trade 'clean' without pandering to the whim of every agent that comes calling. Who knows whether there is anything in this but clearly something has gone awry as I'm sure no-one planned to have only 15 players at this stage.

No, they clearly haven't got many of the targets they were after, and I'm sure being 'clean' (not necessarily our choice, don't forget all our deals have to be scrutinised by the league) is not helping.

But with Williams now added to the first team squad we have 17 now, not 15.

If we don't get 3 or 4 more by the end of the window we should be worried, but not now

Stolen from one of theri boards, but it did make me chuckle. They are so used to bending and breaking the rules, they don't know how to do it properly.

The bold red is how I see many skates viewing their position and revealing that they would probably still choose to be 'unclean' given the opportunity.

In fact unclean and skate are an indivisible pairing in my book!

Cotterill is now "probably hopeful" that they'll be getting some new players in before the end of the week.

It's always the probable hope that kills Steve.

This article just oozes desparation. As do many of the comments underneath. I almost felt sorry for the poor chap in comment #89 who paid out £60 to take himself and his 3 kids on Tuesday.

No, you're not meant to feel sorry for us, though as your ticket prices are almost as high as ours I thought you might agree that pricing in football is ridiculous, especially given the economic climate at the moment. I assume if you go up your prices will go up again to around the £40 mark. Let's see how happy you are if that happens.

And you think we don't have a youth team? LOL

Having mis-typed 'Russian brides' into google, Lampitt looks suitably pleased ending up with a Russian bribe instead.

Excellent!!

Lampitt: Roman, see if you can steal the handbag from that woman sat next to you. It might have enough cash in there to pay for another signing

Dubov: Lampitt, you complete idiot, of course there's money in there, she's my wife. Where do you think the 400m Euro's from the EU went? Saab?

its not even some training ground though is it ;)

I actually really like Fratton Park, it might be a ****ehole with bad facilities but its our ****ehole and for me it has character, I'd rather see us stay at fratton park than move elsewhere

As for our current squad, I think by the end of the window we will have 20 players and if they have to be loan players or bench / squad fillers then so be it because I DO NOT want to see a repeat of players signing on 15-20k a week and us taking a gamble and ending up yet again in the same place in 2-5-10 years time, enough is a enough FFS

On the plus side some of you may know I support a non league side - who were relegated from the conference north, finishing bottom with a points deduction for financial irregularities ( now that sounds familiar lol ) Redditch Utd are now in the Southern Prem so we get to play Totton this season, looking fwd to cranking that one out - yeah I know I can hear the chants of anorak anorak anorak lol

Enjoy.

For what it is worth mero, I would swap St Marys for The Dell any day of the week and twice on Sundays

Hmmm...but how many days of the week would you swap either The Dell or St Mary's for nottarF craP? Staplewood is infinitely nicer than the future Tesco.

I'm amazed it gets a safety certificate each season.

I notice there was no mention of our crowd number against Barnet. Wonder why that was?

As for Brighton being a local derby - LOL.

Once we actually have enough players to fill a bench we'll be OK. Until then it's no wonder people are reluctant to pay £32 is it?

I'm not sure about everyone else but I don't think I have ever gone to watch a footy match to see a full subs bench. Can only have 3 subs in a normal match so the starting 11 is what your paying for isn't it?

is that a bit like piping crowd noise through your tannoy system boys ?

BIG NEWS lol - we've just signed Benjani back ! That's us promoted ;) :D

Well done on beating Stockport County to his signature.

Another 20k a week no doubt, that should stave off the charity payments for a bit longer I assume, eh ??

There's no way he'll be on that much if Stockport were considering offering him a deal.

Prob a couple of thousand at most.

Where are they getting this money from? I assume they're having another ****-or-bust season before the first payments to the creditors are owed? (and what are the odds they don't even bother with honouring that, anyway)

16,500 for the first home game & a local derby too. (Only 10000 less than we got for a Tuesday night game last November.) Bestest fans in the world.

and another 5 yellow cards.

Their getting more bookings than Lady Gaga

Yeah but that is only because everyone has it in for them. The officials are obviously picking on them and it is all just so unfair.

This the striker who only scored 1 in 4 for you when first there? (19 in 77 games) And he's only scored seven goals in the three years since he left you!

Hardly gonna get you promoted with that sort of return. ;) :D

But they've nicked him off the footballing powerhouse that is Stockport County... well powerhouse in the Conference maybe!!! :D

In leiu of today's signing...

Dubov: Look Limpitt, I know you said if I gave you enough money that you'd sign Carlos Tevez from Man City but I didn't think you'd sign the 'black' Carlos Tevez

Lampitt: Sorry Roman, can I offer you a half time banana?

Lucky he didn't have to do pre-season training as that would have knackered him then...

It'll be quite a dilemma for you when Cheats FC slide out (or are tossed out) of the FL and and play Redditch on a regular basis. Who to support? :?:

So with benjani signing they should at least be able to fill their bench for league matches. Less of the poor old us routine?? Doubt it!

Clotteril though they should of got a result. Was that with Pompey shades on or were they unlucky?
