So it seems the Skates are off to DisneyWorld for their pre-season tour.....strangely appropriate methinks.....

Orlando game being promoted as ..... 'Micky Mouse v Micky Mouse Club'.............

According to their forum the Russkies were guest of Eddie Mitchell last week - in his box no less.

The Mclaren was also seen in Sandbanks apparently

Twitchy Chinny time

Oh dear, some of those Bompey fans aren't too bright are they....

...anyway why would the ruskis want a small League One club...when clubs like Pompey,Coventry, and Leeds would make probably better aquisitions?

Cov & Leeds maybe, Pompey? Starting to make the few look intelligent....

But it could be as late as 28th May if it is decided to try all 3 together I think (from that same article)

Legal representatives for the three men, who are all on bail and who all strongly deny any wrongdoing, were told to be ready for a further directions hearing at Southwark crown court in London on 28 May. None appeared in person.

Storrie has already been given a court date of 16 May 2011 and it is understood that the three men could yet be tried together, subject to legal argument.

Haven't viewed The Takeover saga recently, however a quick scan would reveal the following.

1. The merry 3 are in court sometime in May, all together or separately.

2. The Russians who are buying Skate's have been seen at Bompey with 'honest' Eddie Mitchell. They have managed to buy a world renowned motor manufacturer SAAB but not the Skates.

This thread could still make 1000 pages.

Meanwhile....more delusional fun from the blue few.

'So there you have it. Yeah, I would love to go play the 'big boys' of English football again, and if we did get there, I would much prefer to do it the 'right way', but for now, I would take much more delight in affirming our place as the biggest and best club on the South Coast, something we already know - but could do with firming up once again.'

Like we've said on here before, it'll be the hope that kills them.... :D (They'd be better off wishing they get through those derbies with a point in the bank...)

Not directly about the Cheats FC, but the Observer Sports section today has a "Said & Done" section where they have quotes/events from people in Sport.

Today has a quote about the financial problems at Swiss club (Neuchatel Xamax), titled "Owner of the Week".

Needless to say I was thinking about another club when I read it.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/may/01/said-done-fifa-brazil-becali

Owner of the Week

Swiss club Neuchatel Xamax (honorary president: Sepp) set to be saved from serious financial problems by Bulat Chagaev – associate of ex-Chechen warlord and human rights icon Ramzan Kadyrov. Xamax's former president Gilbert Facchinetti: "We are not familiar with these people. But we have to be honest with ourselves: we have no other way."

Saints shirts spotted in Petersfield and Oakhanger today - there's only one club in Hampshire and the county is being reclaimed mile by mile.

With Brighton squeezing pompey from the east as well it's all looking as bit like the opening credits of Dad's Army.

It's turning into the blue very few.

Oddly enough I have noticed, over the last few months, that some Eastleigh Mums must have changed their washing powder. The young fry around here, who sported skate shirts so prominently just over a year ago, now have england, manyoo, arse and chelsea shirts.

Go on Mum, cook them shirts at 40 c, that'll get the red and white stripes back into them!

I notice they have extended the early bird window - now why would they do that? Must be guessing that 'bottom dwellers' will eventually feed off the worm and I get the impression there is still plenty of 'bait' available. It's just that there are so few to feed off the bait....

Been to busy of late to spend much time on here, nice to see the thread still going strong, have they been taken over yet? or NOT can't believe they still bleat on about not having enough players to fill the bench etc.. Should be an interesting month with the leaders of the B.E.F all in dock soon.

he's a coaching legend but he still hasn't matched the equally talented Avram Grant's record of 73 weeks in the relegation zone out of 74 - makes you wonder what he was doing in the other week.

Just stumbled across a Chelsea/Bournemouth supporter who was talking absolute crap and reminded me of the most deluded of the few in their prime.

It seems that Cotterill has done a fantastic job, he only has the highest paid team because of players he inherited!pompey are a much bigger club than us because of their league position and their support, he's sure they'll finish above us next year if we go up, and Bournemouth didn't really mean it when they were gobbing off in the build up to our game.

I was gobsmacked when he started going on about pompey and the great hero Cotterill, you come to realise that some people are so ignorant on footballing matters that they don't deserve your attention, let alone a conversation about it.

So today is meant to be the great unveil and introduction of the new money launderers.....

Or has their main investor been killed in Pakistan?

Interesting seems quite a few press articles linking them to CSI have disappeared.

Surely it all couldn't have been a ruse to get Mitchell to agree a better deal?

Oooh how funny would that be - the skates being buttfecked for a few quid off a deal with a smalltown club

That guy Cotterill is class, herewith one of his latest epics :

"You go a goal down and they start singing all of a sudden" !

"Not that they weren't singing beforehand" !

Pure genius !!

:)

I'm beginning to wonder if 'clot rill' and 'mack rill' are related...so many similarities...

I'm also wondering what they'll be singing at fartton tonight if we pick up 3 points this afternoon...I'm sure they'll want to share in our celebrations.

Although should Norwich also win I can see them smashing their own town up again...:)

Work at Saab's Trollhattan plant has been suspended since 6 April after suppliers refused to deliver parts, citing lack of payment.

Saab said it would now be able to restore confidence, but added it still needs to secure longer-term funding.

One suspect the police would rather Cardiff go up automatically. A Cardiff v Swansea playoff final is a prospect I suspect they would like to avoid.

You mean when Cheats FC play against Havant and Waterlooville in the Conference South? Aren't you being a bit optimistic that the FL will only demote you that far?

Mr TF is telling me that, according to their message boards, there's going to be some sort of announcement before their game!

Well, was there one or are we still waiting?

Met a pompey supporting lawyer this weekend. He seems to think mandric is turning queens evidence for the upcoming court case.

Could be interesting

So no we have done the job we were expected to, we can all get back to the serious business of this fred. I hope they only get a points deduction next season, as taking the 6 points will just feel right and proper, especially if it's a game against us that relegates them!

Ahh bless 'em. They've only named 5 subs. Cue Sky commentators: What an incredible job "Cotts" has done with such meagre resources...

Really F**ks me off, dirty cheating ****s. P**pey's Theory of Special Relativity*: Clotts is 'Special' and what he's done Relative to Avram Grant's 'amazing achievements' is 'incredible'.

(*as opposed to P**pey's Theory of General Relativity - Sister is Mother, etc).
