saintjay77 Posted 25 April, 2011 Share Posted 25 April, 2011 According to this link: http://news.mail.ru/sport/news/football-foreign/5783888/ According to Google Translate: The acquisition of Portsmouth Russian businessman Vladimir Antonov and its control by CSI is on the verge of collapse. CSI and its shareholders have passed the so-called «fit and proper test» English Football League and have provided all the necessary evidence of their own stable of Finance position, but the real owners of Portsmouth Levi Kushnir and Balram Chanrai decided once again to change the terms of the deal and asked for an additional 3 million pounds a preliminary agreement (about 10% to the price originally agreed upon). CSI and Vladimir Antonov, refused to review the conditions and ready to get out of the deal, reports sports.ru. 10%??? they wanted 30mil for the shell of a club? The squad needs almost that again to build a team next season just able to compete in the championship! How would that sale effect gaydamak's piece of the puzzle? Would that then cost the rusky's more?? Not surprised problems have been found to be honest. It gives those with half a brain cell a chance to run like fluck!! dubai_phil Posted 26 April, 2011 Share Posted 26 April, 2011 Are you sure this lot don't just use these 'negotiations' to buy a football club to get free publicity? No, they REALLY want to buy a football club. They just have a very interesting character trait. They are so successful and so knowledgeable that they don't need to listen to a single thing anyone tells them But still, like many have said, you couldn't make this one up could you. Could you? No really, no. Oh and one analysis for you all.... Deal was agreed month ago. Price has gone up 3mil. What does that ACTUALLY tell us? Yep that the burn rate at the few is 3mil a MONTH give or take. Of COURSE that was the price a month ago, but they've spent more money on wages (and not had many ST sales) so OBVIOUSLY Chinny is out of pocket again. So even with the benefit of the doubt that the deal was done 2 months ago, the few are blowing 1.5mil a MONTH Oops, they REALLY need the Russians

A club that has been or is in as much trouble as them lot usually cuts its losses and sells up for a quid to someone that can take on the debt and try to bring it back to life. Chinny thinks that he can flog it onto someone who wants to re-build and take on the debt but doesnt want to cut his losses in the process. I am amazed he found someone that was willing to entertain that idea in the 1st place let alone frighten them off later by raising the price. Only way I can see anyone buying that dump is if Chinny is ready to take a big loss. Surley he would make more money back by folding and selling off the land and fittings than finding someone willing to line his pockets for a laugh. Gemmel Posted 26 April, 2011 Share Posted 26 April, 2011 Well, I have to confess being a little confused.....So much that doesn't add up, but without knowing chanaris motives, then we will never be none the wiser. Chanaris money is safe (Parachute payments) The latest report from the auditors has the secured debt as 29 million between Chinny and gaydamak, but doesn't breakdown who is owned what. However, when lampitt put up his "Close the club down" statement, he also reported that Gaydamak was secured for 5 million, so unless my maths is failing me, Chinnys debt is now 24 million, not the original 17 million he loaned them (That's some interest rate ) I guess he has to work out whether he sits and waits to collect his money or take a hit and get out now. holepuncture Posted 26 April, 2011 Share Posted 26 April, 2011 Rather an odd comment from Roman D about doing a deal here ... http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_164330880268459¬if_t=group_activity I have requested the friendship of mr Antonov, Dubov and the CSI group. I fortunately have a picture of me in spyker which should sweeten the deal, have changed my location to pompey to help add credibility. Now what mischeif shall i cause? I was thinking about being a concerned skate looking for clarification on the mafia situ. Breaking news, two minutes after my request, I have made a mate. Cheers for the add Vlad, i hope he dosent see the numerous images of me at the JPT. Am I getting in too deep? It has been a long standing ambition of mine to bring the skates to total collapse, and I have made attempts at launching destabalisation campaigns aimed at damaging them further. Maybe this isnt such a good idea.

The fact that this is giving the few more hope to kill them is just a delicious bonus.

It's just that hard-core and scrap steel aren't worth too much, the shredders and PCs are leased, and how much is land worth in Fratton anyway? I only said I wouldnt touch pfc with a barge pole with all the dodgy goings on in the past and how they'd be wise to wait for the court case which could result in points deduction/relegation. Then went on to say they may as well look to clubs like Crystal Palace, Sheff Utd, Coventry etc which would be a much wiser investment due to their fan base and less dodgy accounts. Within minutes there were 25 replies (mainly typing their song 'he made me feel sick so I hit him with a brick') and 9 friend requests. I replied to their comments with 'These are the fans you'd be investing in, I rest my case' They now seem convinced I have scuppered the deal LOL. Jimmy_D Posted 27 April, 2011 Share Posted 27 April, 2011 It occurs to me that passing the FAPPT doesn't necessarily mean they're after Pompey. Like Phil says, they want 'a football club', passing the FAPPT means they're free to buy 'a football club', but it doesn't necessarily have to be Pompey.
