Bit about P****y at the bottom of this. Mainly a report of the meeting mentioned earlier in this thread. Mind you the Argyle bit is interesting!

"Plymouth Financial consultant David Jones"...is that the same chap who was on the Saints board during our 'admin years'?

Thank goodnes i won't be having this in close proximity......

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/bygone-blues/lampitt_blues_training_ground_search_on_hold_1_2447713

This was initially trumpeted by the club as a major step forward and was a definate goer in Gosport.

From what i was led to believe it was a non starter and the club slightly over exagerated their connection with the ownership of the land.

I think this has been glossed over somewhat by the club, more lies during their time of strife.

Nice to see it in black and white however.

A little snippet from the fans meeting with Lumpit;

When asked how they build the squad at the end of the season lumpitt answers

"transfers do not necessarily have to be built around an upfront fee that value for money was the key"

LOL, straight out of Peter Storrie book of football club management. That's it Lumpitt...buy them on the never never

It won't happen if the Football creditors rule gets thrown out. It would seriously jeapordise their ability to sign players.

Chunky.... We stopped using Collingwood, because we had a spate of hamstring - calf injuries, something to do with the ground being more clay based, also the drainage was she ite. Gosport is ok, but it's an absolute nightmare getting in or out. Can you imagine Transfer deadline day with sky doing their bit from the bus cos it's stuck on the A32.

I despair!

''Lampitt revealed the training ground latest at a supporters’ meeting at Fratton Park earlier this week.

He also told fans the club does not actually own the proposed Titchfield and Gosport sites.

He added: ‘Titchfield is a site owned by a company that is officially owned by Sacha Gaydamak.

‘It is not in the ownership of the football club.''

I lol'd.

#pompeyfc Steve Cotterill tells us that Asia is the club's preferred destination for next pre-season. America and Austria are also options

Well i suppose that they will only have to pay for 8 flights and four hotel rooms, so it might be financially manageble.

Of course, they might just end up playing, Exeter, Bournemouth, Reading and Brighton

Wasn't he complaining about how hard doing their pre-season in America was this season? What a ****ing dope.

Shut up you stupid skate ****.

If anyone was watching Skys 'special' on the skates the other night, you may have noticed SOCA.

The Serious Organised Crime Agency made a statement which went somewhere along the lines of

"We can neither confirm or deny whether we are investigating the activity at cheating skate bastards FC"

Having mentioned it to my police intelligence mate last night, he said to take that as a YES. If SOCA had no intention of investigating or there was nothing to investigate, they would have simply denied it. Its a standard response used when they cant suggest guilt yet. Just think about all the investment UK PLC has had to make investigating them disgusting dirty skates, police raids, tax evasion cases, legal costs and so on, for years and years. They must be baying for blood.

That smelly skate **** bob beech and his sos skate clan presented to the PL a web of criminal pompey owners and all the gun running, laundering etc that has gone on between them before they started raping the fishy few.

The PL said they have identified an even bigger web, what did they do with the web? Maybe it has landed on at SOCA...

Also reassuring to note that Sky Sports News chief reporter Bryan Swanson flew all the way to ****ing Hong Kong to speak to Ballooooo

Swanson has been following the skate disaster for over a year now, he was at all the court appearances and so on. He asks questions, but only pushes it so far (remit perhaps), I am sure he is on the same level as us lot on here, and is desperate to break the big story one day.

I also chuckled at Chinnys ****ty little brown office with his temporary walls and dirty-tiled balcony!

How can they get paid? They haven't sold any players!

I like the way they can't find any land to develop for training. I heard there was this chap next door who owned a goods yard. They should try and get on his better side and try an approach.

The reason they did the. Last preseason far away from home was to protect the players from the constant bad news at home. They must be expecting a repeat performance?

I still like the "The Russians were expected to complete last Wednesday" line, which was followed on a Thursday by "None of the interested parties have proved funds yet"

I mean that's still up there with the Helpmerhonda takeover tale.

We all know it isn't real, and it's clear the few don't believe it - they haven't even worked out how to have a Yacht Watch yet.

Understand that there were problems paying some of them last month, and their cashflow has not been sufficient to cover the wages this month.

That's unfair.

It was obvious that the problems with last month's wages were entirely the bank's fault. Peter Storrie Cotterill said so! You do believe what they said don't you? I mean it's not like there are any reasons not to believe them is there?

Stupidly large wage packets

No new investment

Hillarity for most of the footballing world.

I reckon SC bigging up the play offs is to get Chinny to chuck some more money in the biscuit tin to keep the show on the road for another month. The end of the line is coming though. If they don't go up, I reckon it's admin time again.

they certainly like to make the history books, another bit of one up-manship if they do into admin for the 3rd time. i dont think Sinatra tried that many comebacks

why the suggestion that the players will not be paid this month?

Exactly Amesbury, What makes you pony boys think that when the blues go to cash there monthly chips in the tart behind the counter looks up apologetically and says (your avin a larf losers)

any case clocks are at GMT at the mo, gives us more time to (rob some knut) or the bank to ion out any creases in there system.

Does this happen in any other industry?

If I want to buy your shoe factory would I be expected to give £1m non refundable just to see the books & find out the seller is a liar?

I'll sell you my car, I'll charge you £2k just to see the service history & the milage.

It;s not beyond the realms of possibility that they make the playoffs.

Bugger.

There's next to no chance.

If you look at the table, once games in hand are played, there are only 12 games left.

If Leeds, Leicester and Burnley all slump to the extent that they only average something like 1.25 points per game then the Skates would still need something like 25 points from their last 12 games to get above them and any other team in between them that has a decent run.

they wouldn't have added Cotterill to their wage bill if they couldn't pay it this month, would they?

coarse not that would be cheating! Good on ear how us(the blue few) have gone from relegation certainties, To they wont make the playoffs will they?.

If the bet was Pompey to stay up, or Saints to get promoted, i know which one i would lump all my shackles on, LOL

If that was the bet Chez, Then i would lump all my shackles on you, After what happened before, And the start of this season, If we stay up then we have had a result,

Best case scenario all the south coast clubs in the same div, Derby days every month,

Due to the local legislation, where they give you 4 years for possession of an illegal substance and inculde possession as being in your bloodstream, I cannot unfortunately reply with the comment - I wish I had some of what you guys have been smoking.

You are in a relegation scrap. When you realise that you will survive & we will have all those Derbies next year. If you continue to dream..............

... but the big question is.... where is Corpy Ho Ho Ho? I'd really love his insight on their latest upturn in fortunes.

He will not be seen or heard again on this forum.

If you want to know why look at post 36357 on page 728.

Even Corpy is not thick enough to continue to post on here after he was destroyed in that post.
