Why enjoy watching things Pompey? If you like watching clubs die then where is the Chester thread? I looked but I just cant find it? Please direct me to it. Where is the Crystal Palace thread, the Cardiff City thread?

 

Why Pompey?

 

When Saints got relegated from the Prem, I celebrated. I know why. I wanted Saints out of the way so the Pompey could be the better team. If/when you get above us again it will be the same. I will want Pompey to be better than Saints.

 

For me, thats all there is to it. Is it the same for you?

I don't need a shrink to answer this

3 reasons -

1. It's Pompey - der! Just like you lot took an unhealthy interset in our problems.

2. As far as soap-operas go, it knocks 'Stenders into a ****ed hat.

3. It has given, and continues to give, us a huge number of laughs on a daily basis.

(Also, to be fair, this has been just about the only Poopey thread running and is now in it's ninth month.)

Good enough explanation?

I dont go on rivals sites giving it the big one. Sadly some saints fans do, why I'm not sure. I do hope they dont disappear whe the going gets tough like the Skates do on here.

The fact that you wrote that leads me to think that you really do not have a clue as to what all other real 'neutrals' really do think about your club.

 

Strangely last night, after reading this board and in particular a quote from the POL board I felt very very sorry for your club. The post stated 10 things that could be about to happen to your club - one of which was basically going to the wall.

 

When I took some time to think about it I felt sorry for you, I actually pity you - I hope that you survive. When I read your message boards, your fan love to mock us because you are in the Premier League and we are but a small club 2 leagues below you. You have 'won' the FA cup, and will probably win it again - yet we have won nothing for years. And so you love to mock us.

 

Yet stand back and look, and you will find that those very two things are probably the core reason as to why you find yourself in the mess that you do, the Premier League and the FA Cup, you're there, your have them, and they have ruined you.

 

And so, as I said I feel very, very sorry for you and wish you well for the future - if indeed you have one. Given where you could be going I feel no bitterness whatsoever towards you, actually I feel relief that I am unassociated with PFC and slightly embarrassed by the wealth of riches that my own club affords me even two leagues below you.

 

The Premier League and FA Cup eh, what every club aspires to, but who'd have 'em eh?

Several on here have given you an answer.We had a poll at the start of this, I voted 'relegated but still in existence', if we had that poll now, I'd vote 'exterminate',why! because..............

I think most people were happy with you lot going down until all the cheating and crying like a bunch of spoilt babies. Now I think ending up a non league club is what most fair minded people think pompey deserve

Fingers crossed, Chelsea will completely destroy you in front of a large televised audiance.

funny thing is they STILL worry about us. All sitting round hoping that Huddersfield can beat Walsall. Pretty sad.

Without the tainted money and involvement with these characters in the first place, the best you lot would have had in recent years would've been a trip to Doncaster and home crowds of under 10k. They don't have any case at all.

 

The "activity", if there has been any "activity" has been carried out by the owners and management of PFC FFS. They aren't victims, they're the perpetrators. You can't be a victim of your own "activity".

 

In any event, I'm not sure that such a provision exists. If you're referring to the "circumstances out of the club's reasonable control" provision, that is clearly not intended to be applied to criminal activity perpetrated by the club/its officer/owners. It's to cover their stadium collapsing due to an earthquake, the insolvency of Sky, nuclear disasters etc...

Ho seems to not understand the principle of how they got into the position they are in now. Without MM Gaydo etc they would still be in CCC at best. The debts mounted up under MM and he jumped ship. There were reports of 100m debt when MM was selling to Gaydamek. The Pompey fans have lived the dream and after the 2nd cup final appearance I think wahtever happens now they have had a fantastic deal...not for their grandchildren but for fans in the last 10 years.

Strange, I don't remember you complaining when Gaydamak bought the club with blood money and bankrolled a rise up the table and to winning silverware.

 

At the end of the day, Pompey fans only now give a **** that their club's owned and run by a bunch of crooks because they've been relegated and the money's run out. It's too late now. If they were that bothered about the "fairness" of it all, they'd have listened to all those (not just Saints fans) who pointed out the obvious problems in 2006 and tried to stop it happening in the first place. After all, Milan Mandaric would never have sold the club to someone the fans didn't want, would he...?

It's not weird, you moron. Pompey and Saints are rivals. You lot have provided one of the most hilariously disgraceful seasons in the history of professional football. We have been loving it. I think the PFC fans with numerous posts on here are the ones needing some sort of clinical validation.

Keeping it short, the way this thread has developed has allowed us all to continue our 'continual professional development' into all things takeovers. Perhaps he should check out our 'Takeover Thread No.1288' - it's a corker.

 

Shame for them is they're own Takeover Thread will only reach 5 if they're lucky.

 

Perhaps we over analyse on points surrounding the blue few, but here's the rub.

 

It's fun for us..just as it is for some blueys to 'thank Huddersfield'.

 

The only thing funnier than how this has developed, is HOW LONG it took for Pompey's finest to catch on. Hell, some of them STILL don't get it.

 

When was FF's first post?? July last year??

 

Pompey have been punching above their weight, delivering knockouts and winning things, whilst addled on Steroids....

if - lol! This is what it is about, you have had your -what is it 5 years?? in a lifetime above us - and the quicker for fall, and the quicker we rise and your short spell as the better team will be over and quickly forgotten.

This case appears to have been moved to Friday as well in Court 7 before JUDGE TESTAR.

 

? Does the "Order made under Contempt of Court Act 1981" refer to Storrie or the person below ?? (It looks like Storrie to my uneducated eye). Could it refer to that leaked email a couple of weeks ago ??
