Under Weststand Posted 4 April, 2010 Share Posted 4 April, 2010 They're still hoping! SOCCER John Carney Apr 04, 2010 Hong Kong businessman and Portsmouth owner Balram Chainrai is in India speaking to two consortiums interested in buying the Premier League club, in what could prove to be the most important few days in the club's history. ... That is the truest words spoken about the Cheats for weeks. Just watch the s**t storm the week after they get annihilated in the semi-final. I can't wait to here Alcoholics Anonymous blustering his way through on the Monday. Knowing that he can't keep the charade going a moment longer. As for the brothel boy Avram he just can't leave it alone can he, that interview again, when asked about relegation he said the premier league made the decision in January its not been decided on the pitch, Oh please give it a rest, you've been CHEATING all season, but your getting retribution on the pitch at the moment with injuries & suspensions. Serves you right you CHEATS! Its going to be a sickening love feast this week with Saggy chops gushing about the marvellous club & fans :vom: all 16k of them, have they sold their allocation yet. ivangolac Posted 4 April, 2010 Share Posted 4 April, 2010 Is anyone else hoping that West Ham win today? Although unlikely it will mean that Skates are Relegated!!! About time too. Saint_John Posted 4 April, 2010 Share Posted 4 April, 2010 No , i want them relegated next weekend ... after we've beaten Charlton .... and the day before they go out the FA cup It is almost certain they will lose the "support of the premier league" at 16:55 next Saturday, and then the Football League can open their Dossier and Rule Book. aintforever Posted 4 April, 2010 Share Posted 4 April, 2010 If I was a skate I would keep hold of my "Relegation Party" T shirt because it will get plenty of use this time next year. Unless a sugar daddy comes in willing to chuck millions down the toilet I can see them as nailed on for going down again. Take the loanies and the high earner out of that squad and it is almost non existent. Bung in the very likely points deduction (most probable -17) and the absence of parachute money and they are a basket case.

If Chanrai does find some mugs to buy them then my concern justice has not been served has come to pass. The high profile of tghem being in the FAcup semi final could make them seem a prospect form people looking in from afar. Chanrai a very astute businessman was caught and so why not others. In which case he wouldn't be an astute businessman, would he? If it is to be believed that he has no interest in owning a football club at all, there is even more reason for him to be cautious. Personally, I believe that the circumstances that have arisen give more credence to the theorists who reckon that the bad blood between Chainrai and Gaydamak senior was the reason that Chainrai got involved. What are the chances that the Skates will have somebody come forward to buy the club to somehow put Chainrai's nose out of joint in the same way? Otherwise I can see no reason whatsoever that anybody would want to buy them. Accepting that if any buyer is not an idiot with more money than sense (i.e. TCWTB winning the Euro Lottery) due dilligance and forensic accounting will reveal so many maggots in the apple that any reasonably sane businessman would run a mile. There are many more clubs that could be bought that represent far better value than the Skates, clubs that have better stadia, better training facilities' less debt and probably better fans too. They got through the winding up order, when they were toast, they got through to the cup semi when they were toast, they have gone into admin and then fully expected to be toast. aintforever Posted 5 April, 2010 Share Posted 5 April, 2010 I'm just guessing but the way I see Chairnrai's involvement is simply as an asset stripper. Gaydamak owed Chanrai cash, Gaydamak's bank accounts were frozen so he just gave him the club to get what he can out of it. Chanrai is just keeping it on life support until the rest of the Sky money turns up, there is plenty left to strip for a while yet. Ignore the administrator, as the main creditors it is still Gaydamak and Chanrai in full control of what is happening.

rallyboy Posted 5 April, 2010 Share Posted 5 April, 2010 when they have idiots like Hertz Van Rental playing at the back they are doomed. On a yellow card, a week from Wembley, let's blatantly stick my arm out to stop an attack and see what occurs.... If he wasn't so dim he would realise that the chances of someone with his talent ever playing in such a big game again are remote, yet if they had lost 25-0 to Blackburn it would not make a jot of a difference to their season. Criminal management, stupid players - they are still on a suicide mission to get to the conference asap.

Te only problm with this theory is that Chinrai WAS paid the 17m from AG's frozen account. It was this money that he (through Portpin) 'loaned' to PCFC (through the mirage's company). This is why some people might think it was all a ploy to get AG 17m from his frozen account and for Chinrai to then asset strip the money back from PCFC. The same end result as your theory, I'll give you that.

It is something David Blaine would not be able to conjure up They have only been kept going because it would be a major headache for the Premiership to pull the plug on them before the end of the season. As soon as the last kick of the ball has taken place in their last match, they will be flushed down the toilet. Whatever happens in the FA Cup is not detrimental to the FA. Either they get beaten and everybody shrugs their shoulders, or they win it and the fairy tale Cup idea gets a boost. They are already relegated bar the shouting and will start the season in the Fizzy Pop with a massive points deduction, as they will not come out of it with a CVA because of the Customs and Revenue. They still have the court cases for Storrie and Redcrapp to come which could mean further deductions. If you can make out any sort of cogent case as to why anybody would want to buy them under those circumstances, I'd be pleased to hear it. Also, if you believe that some or none of those things I have mentioned will not happen, again, please tell me why not.
sidthesquid Posted 5 April, 2010 Share Posted 5 April, 2010 Even their players are a bunch of whinging kn0b-jockeys - quote Vanden Borre But the on-loan right-back insists he was harshly treated by referee Bennett. He said: 'I should not have been given the first yellow card because I got the ball and not the man. I tried to tell that to the referee, but he took no notice. 'Then for the second one, as the ball came towards me I tried to chest it down but it just hit the top of my arm."
