So as most thought the administrator is hanging on until the CHEATS are out of the cup, before the fire sale. He is not doing his job, he should be protecting the buisness, not protecting the wage bill! DIRTY CHEATING GIT'S

Had to laugh at some of the comments on here, especially no:-21 they still don't get it do they! Still blaming the FA/EPL for their demise.

Also had to PMSL this morning on sky sports news, their are a couple of Skates have made a song for Wembley (yes a semi-final) the only thing they forgot was to include a rather large lady singing it for them.

Interesting to read the latest set of reports to come out of The News and to note the number of posts on them that have been deleted as unsuitable. I'm presuming that they contained derogatory remarks posted either by us lot over here, or scathing comments made by some Skate about us.

I confess to some enjoyment at reading such a comment by a Skate thicko and reporting it as derogatory and childish and nothing to do with the article. It suggested that after our visit to Wembley, the Skates would have to disinfect and fumigate the seats. A subsequent visit to the article in the News showed me that the offensive comment had been duly removed. The comment had been made by the same moron who suggested that Pardew ought to get a job as a painter and decorator (which he once was) as he now had a paint pot.

Good sport to be had here. ;)

There's a few SWF alter egos on there.... ;-)

It appears to have gone very quiet on the Pompey front, is this the lull before the storm.

AA made the position very clear in his interviews reported last week. The ONLY option he has is to put together some kind of CVA and hope the creditors go for it, with Chainrai remaining as owner. The only problem with that plan is that it requires Chainrai to put MORE money into the club now. IF he is secured, he appears to be the only substantial secured creditor, so he'll get his money back from sale of the assets in liquidation anyway.

Apart from the odd leak about previous misdemeanours, and consequent future points deductions, I'm not expecting anything to happen on the admin front until after they get dumped out of the FA cup by Saggy. I'm guessing that AA is clinging to the forlorn hope that he might be able to sell this year's FA cup winners. Once that door is slammed shut he will have to face the facts. Unless he can secure a large injection of cash from somewhere, he will have to seriously consider liquidation.

The longer it goes on the way it is now, the worse it gets for them. I'm pretty sure that AA is haemorraging around £1m a week of next season's income at the moment just to keep them going. The longer he leaves it, the less he has to offer the creditors in the CVA while keeping enough back to at least try to run some kind of football operation next season.

Today's the day that Corpse meets up with his contact at the club whom he sees socially every couple of weeks or so.

Expect some top secret, totally reliable information to be released onto the forum tomorrow.

Riquelme will be buying the club.

You must know the same bloke as Corpse. He's only given you half the story though - Riquelme's signing and Maradona will be a goodwill ambassador.

I heard Maradona is being bought in to help solve their injury crisis as they are hoping all the players will be miraculously healed by the touch of the hand of god.

who is putting up the money to pay the players tomorrow? well actually, it probably needs to be paid today, so its in their accounts tomorrow.

i would pmsl if they cant pay the wages again

as far as I understand it, is that it is impossible for him not to pay the wages as he is liable. If he can see he not able to fulfill that commitment he has to wind the club up.I dont think that is at all likely to happen yet

agreed, but then where is the £1.8m coming from? im sure he hasnt got it himself

I'm pretty certain that it is more than £1.8m a month, if it was only that much Pompey wouldn't be in such a sorry state.

Trying to think now isn't there a small insignificant organisation that they owe some money to every month, can't quite get it :smt102

Oh I remember its TAX & N.I contributions.

But maybe they can continue to ignore them as they don't matter

Looking at the comparisons with BOMPEY they other South Coast broke club, They have finally paid off their tax bill and have had their transfer embargo lifted, does this mean if the Skates dont get a CVA due to the taxman that the good ole Football League will slap on a transfer ban until the £18+M bill is paid off, This will definitely mean a further relegation as they will not be able to buy or loan players. OH happy days!!!!!!! :)

It is. AA admitted the other day that they have a wage bill of £40m p.a. So, my basic maths make that £3.33m per month. Sounds about right when you add the tax and NI to £1.8m.

It seems immoral to me that potentially the parachute money and tv prize money is effectively being used to pay players and keep the club going but not to address the debt.

The only reason the players are at the top of the list is because they are classed as a 'football debt' and Pompey won't get a place in the FL if they don't pay their football debts. The whole thing sucks.

you can't knock their commitment, while some Hartlepool fans couldn't be bothered, Pompey still remain the only club to have brought their entire fanbase to St Marys.

And between them the Few had six different types of DNA.

With travelling support like the 300 who went to Coventry or the 390 that went to Liverpool, I'm sure the missing 249,600+ will snap up the opportunity to further worship their hero Redknapp at Wembley - after all it's a proper trophy where only big clubs get to the final.

Ask any Millwall or Cardiff fan.

Just had a thought...the Semi Final's going to be extremely funny to watch.

Empty spaces all over their allocation, and a hammering from Spurs....all on live TV.

:-D

Oh yeah, I can't wait! :)

I almost feel sorry for their small proportion of fans who aren't complete ****s.

So if every one of the 250k who cheered them on Southsea Common that day gifted the club £200....

THEY'D STILL BE £50M SHORT OF THEIR TOTAL DEBT.

Makes you think doesn't it? :-D

The strangest idea occurred to me:

We had that Carlisle fan posting that he was going to Wembley wearing a Pompey shirt. Should we suggest that we can buy out Pompey's remaining unsold tickets? I reckon we could probably get more Saints fans in Saints shirts there than they can get Pompey fans. We wouldn't need to take 50,000 - just about 20,000 should do it :)

We could boo both Pompey and Saggychops. Would be great fun.

no, but said he would expect all season ticket holders to take up their two, plus members - giving 26,000, and there should be at least a couple of thousand who have been to three games, taking it to 28,000 who should be demanding their ticket.

Your mention of Hartlepool in the same post as Liverpool makes it worth repeating the comparison between our support and that of the Skates.

Recently they took just 390 fans to Liverpool, one of the greatest clubs historically in World football, for a midweek match.

Also recently, we took over double that number of fans to a midweek match at Hartlepool, one of football's non-entity teams and a further 80 miles distant than from Skatesville to Liverpool.

This really does illustrate why our fans are better than theirs.

Thought this picture was quite funny, AA around in the Mandaric era looking just as smug. Along with what looks like William Shatner and Peter Griffin from Family Guy.

http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=ryzymcj5zie&thumb=6

Well that certainly looks like AA in that picture. Wonder if its a real pic or made up? It would certainly raise a few question marks. More dodgy dealings maybe at the place of filth & dirty deeds otherwise known as Krap Notarf.

It breaks my heart to support Saggy Chops but I hope they absolutely crush them & humiliate them at Wembley, in front of plenty of empty seats at the poopey end.

He sorted the last admin "problems out" when MM bought them (so I was told)

Yep...I heard he was on the administrators team last time around....this time he has the top job.

They do like to keep it in the family down that end of the M27. :D

Pretty sure he declared that he was on the team last time at the first press conference. More interesting perhaps is the possibility of the "second admin" extra points deduction. It has been brought up on here a couple of times but I do not recall it being mentioned much in the press.

It seems the natives are getting restless!

Press Release gone out this morning, let me know your thoughts guys.

Boner

SOS POMPEY!

Portsmouth Fans United For Their Club

Pompey fans demand independent inquiry into Pompey finances

“NO STITCH UP, NO TO CHANRAI!”

SOS Pompey wishes to express their utter disbelief at Administrator Andrew Andronikou's claim that the clubs debts are now at £100m. How can the debts now be £40m higher than the original estimate when, by the administrators own admission no investigation has begun? Just three days earlier his co-administrator Michael Kiely told fans the debts were £78m. Where did £22m debt come from in 3 days?

Peter Storrie’s latest admission that he suspected Pompey’s funding came from fugitive criminal and money launderer Arkadi Gaydamak directly contradicts what he said at the time. Storrie has NO PLACE at Portsmouth Football Club. The administrators should dispense with his services immediately. His presence at the Football Club while ex-employees are signing on the dole is yet another stain on our club. Shame on you Mr Storrie, shame on you.

Mr Andronikou has talked up the possibility of Balram Chainrai remaining as the owner because he “ticks all the boxes”. This is nonsense – he has not passed the Fit and Proper Persons Test and fans polls show up to 85% would boycott the club if he remained in charge. Most of all, the Premier League, the fans of Pompey, the whole world want him to explain his links to the shadowy clique who really ran Pompey behind the flimsy cover of Ali Al Faraj, a clique he has known and done business with since well before his involvement with Pompey.

We want to know how fraudster Danny Azougy was allowed to run the club for four months, who appointed him, who he worked with and what he did.

The failure to even start an investigation into the clubs finances at a time when newspapers are full of allegations of all kinds of impropriety is a scandal.

We will not stop until we get answers. We demand a full, independent investigation into all financial transactions at Pompey over the last four years.

“NO HIDING PLACE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO RUINED POMPEY!”

Ends

Who do these muppets think are going to fund this investigation?

The Premier League? No way, they want this mess swept under the carpet as it reflects abjectly on them and their rules.

The Police? No way, they will investigate any criminal fraud but not to the extent of producing reports and a big picture summary

Any of the past or current owners? No way,. for obvious reasons.

Any supporters group? No way, no money and no access.

Maybe they are used to getting something for nothing and think money magically appears out of thin air.... but by now you would have thought that they would have been disabused of that notion :D

CHEATS.
