Pompey Takeover Saga

All their players are crocked James, Webber and hreidarsson all injured with last two being stretchered off.

It's almost like divine retribution. The authorities and courts refuse to really punish them, so the Gods have struck on their behalf.

Weird sh*t. :smt059

New UEFA rules

The new club monitoring requirements aim principally to:

• Introduce more discipline and rationality in club football finances;

• Decrease pressure on players’ salaries and transfer fees and limit inflationary effect;

• Encourage clubs to compete with their revenues;

• Encourage investment for the long-term benefit of clubs, such as investment in infrastructure

(sports facilities) and in youth;

• Protect the long term viability and sustainability of European club football; and

• Ensure clubs settle their liabilities on a timely basis.

anybody else hear the BBC reporter say 'even the southampton fans may feel sympathy for Pompey today' I found it quite odd, as I didn't

It is a scam no doubt to gain more sympathy

I did start to feel a bit of sympathy for the blue few, however, I've managed to get the doc to up my medication and I feel much better now. ;-)

I know this is probably ancient Pompey news, but I've only just noticed it. Pompey can't play Dindane without incuring a £4m loan fee for making a certain number of appearances.

£4m?!?!? as part of a loan fee? Who the flippin' 'eck authorised that in the PFC boardroom.

Not a 4m loan fee more that a certain amount of loan appearances triggers a £4m permanent move.

Just thought I'd pop up to wish some of the good guy's on here a great day out tomorrow. A tip, Don't eat food outside the Stadium, it's crap. Despite press reports the food inside Wembley is ace and IMO not that bad in terms of value, that said, I doubt many of you are going for food so the 'Foccacia Burgers' probably won't be that high up your Wembley agenda, which is a shame as they're very nice and much preferable to the '**** Burgers' I seem to be forced to ingest of late. But thats enough about Pompey. Enjoy. :)

Thank you for that very sporting and noble sentiment.

Cheers PES...if you see Avram out and about, please tell him to wind it in regarding how hard done by he is.....it's now very repetitive and tedious.

HTTP Error 404 :(

From pompeyonline, this is what the article said before it disappeared:

You may recall that Harry Redknapp’s defection to Tottenham in October 2008 sparked a £5million compensation payment. As Harry pointed out at the time: “They couldn’t sell players so they were keen to let me go and get the compensation.”

Pompey claimed the payment would be used to reduce the club’s soaring debt level. But the Mole can reveal every penny of the £5million was immediately shipped into an off-shore account. Administrator Andrew Andronikou is investigating.

They truly are a stinking, horrible, offensive, nauseating, foul, repulsive, disgusting, rotten, filthy, corrupt, dishonest, repugnant, festering, putrescent, fraudulent, obnoxious, cesspit of a club.

Oh, I forgot to mention

CHEATS.

The irony of the Pompey saga is that the truth that is gradually emerging is funnier than anything we could make up.

I see it has gone very quiet on the buying front. Potential cynics on here may question whether Baloo's plan was always to buy back the club having freed it of a bit of Tax and supplier debt.

What price a cheap deal with AA that looks at 30p in the pound but Son of a Gun Run gets a hefty fee for the land?

"What about the points deduction that would incur though" I hear our fishy friends cry. Well lads, it was never about football and your squalid ****ty little club is being used as a public vehicle to shift cash. The plan is actually genius, Football clubs are awash with cash and poor governence - who'd notice another basket-case club when surrounded by so many others.

Life is like a crap sandwich.

The more bread you got the less crap you have to eat.

Just one tip.

You can't live on borrowed bread. Some fecker always wants it back.

Thanks for the genuine message, you're not a bad lad.

for a skate ;)
