dubai_phil Posted 2 March, 2010 Share Posted 2 March, 2010 Ah right, so an administrator will give the quote and if the creditor thinks its acceptable then he can apoint that administrator. Then the fees get paid at the end. I wasnt sure if that initial quote was to be paid before the admin gets started so that his back is covered because he is liable or something. Not really going anywhere with this point but was just trying to understand. Now, I would never say this in the context of British Business Practices, but in a Mediteraneanish Middle Easternish Orientish environment I would expect the conversation over dinner to go possibly along the lines of. How much are your fees going to be? Only that much? Ah so if I was to win how much would they be? Never happens outside this region though
PES Posted 2 March, 2010 Share Posted 2 March, 2010 Fantastic News! Danny Posted 2 March, 2010 Share Posted 2 March, 2010 If you read his posts alongside the BBC Twitter feed through @BBC_Matt - there's a distinction. Which is, the BBC are reporting the facts - The News are reporting what suits their target market - mushrooms. The News reporter isn't in court - he's getting his information from his two colleagues that are, which probably explains the lack of info as he's probably getting it about third hand by the time it gets to him. The BBC guy is tweeting direct from the court. Well, outside it I guess, as it's illegal to do so from in the court room. He'll have to keep running outside every ten minutes or risk being found in contempt!

pedg Posted 2 March, 2010 Share Posted 2 March, 2010 is there any possibility they could be wound up on the 15th, if the administration deal turns out to be dodgy? My guess is that there is no documents that prove that Chainrai was a secured creditor of PCFC so unless they get someone with a record of forging documents in court cases in they are probably going to come back fairly quickly and ask for the court to put them into admin instead. Red Alert Posted 2 March, 2010 Share Posted 2 March, 2010 This really messes up AAs plans, as anything he were to do could I guess be deemed (Illegal?) if he was found to have been wrongly appointed. So the whole admin process of selling everything they can, getting rid of staff etc must be put on hold until after the hearing in two weeks. Presumably then the PL wont take any points off of them until after this date too?
