dubai_phil Posted 2 March, 2010 Share Posted 2 March, 2010 How are the Skates getting another meeting regarding selling players outside the window tomorrow? Disgrace... if ever there was a perfect example of insolvency, this is it.... That is now taken as confirmed, hence why Admin, who by law has to dispose of anything of any value to pay off the debts. He needs to ask the PL how that can be be done. 38mil - Don't you love Storrie teller. Hope he did not put that in the SoA
Channon's Sideburns Posted 2 March, 2010 Share Posted 2 March, 2010 HMRC is questioning timing of Chainrai's 'charge' (securing his debt) on PFC. It came on 7/1, after WUP started on 23/12. Bit iffy 1 minutes ago via txt 2nd headline: HMRC challenging value of Fratton Park. Is it Chainrai's £10m (competing 18/2/11!) or book value of £7.8m? 5 minutes ago via txt 1st big headline: last week Storrie revalued squad from £21m to £38m, contrary 2 normal practice but based on his 21yr experience! 10 minutes ago via txt ALL FROM BBC TWITTER FEED. Liquidshokk Posted 2 March, 2010 Share Posted 2 March, 2010 It sounds like the only reason they havent been put to sleep is because "they are a well loved club" and they "have lots of history" Any other company in any other industry would have folded by now, regardless of how big the name is. hutch Posted 2 March, 2010 Share Posted 2 March, 2010 as I pointed out earlier it will give Pomey time to catch up their 5 points adrift. Then watch the PL get its knickers in a twist. Pompey will get out of it Works every time

Disgrace... if ever there was a perfect example of insolvency, this is it.... It's in the EPL rules regarding administration. What the skate bast(a)rds want to do is sell players now but then loan them back to the skate bast(a)rds for the remainder of the season.

Red Alert Posted 2 March, 2010 Share Posted 2 March, 2010 Mr Mitchell said they need evidence of the validity of the appointment of administrators. 'We just want the court to determine that issue on the evidence. They may have satisfied themselves but there may be issues that they have not put their minds to.' If this is a direct quote, sounds as if HMRC might be floundering in there a little bit. Not a strong concise point that I want to be hearing from them.
