bristolsaint29 Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Not a bad attendance for Pompey I just mentioned that on there news feed but they haven't put it on?
foghorn Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Well it does include Cardiff fans too! I tried to post that on the pompey webchat but that and a few other comments were filtered out.
Um Bongo Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 All Rise... You know what time it is....... It's Buisness Time!
keithd Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 and another more important thing. How will this effect any Fantasy Football scores? Will all points gained from Pompey matches be expunged from the records as well? Why would you have any Portsmouth players in any fantasy team?
saint boggy Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 there are near-on 500 members online at the moment.....you would think something BIG was about to happen, wouldn't you!!!
capitalsaint Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 just like to repeat, this is the greatest thread ever to exist.
Hatch Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Why would you have any Portsmouth players in any fantasy team? No, points gained from other players playing against the Skates. This is as exciting as the FA cup 3rd round draw !!
St Marco Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 The good thing about this will be that national media are in there and will report what happens. Where as if it was just Pompey staff in there they would come out saying something like "it was our idea to be wound up" etc.
Pancake Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 and another more important thing. How will this effect any Fantasy Football scores? Will all points gained from Pompey matches be expunged from the records as well? Why would you have any Portsmouth players in any fantasy team? Read Hatch's post again. If he had, say Bent, Rooney and Greening in his team, then he would lose the points from the games they scored goals in as those games would be removed...
Channon's Sideburns Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Tanya Robbins has entered the room. Sacrificial lamb..
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Where is corp ho...? Bet he knows what`s gonna happen:D
Joey-deacons-left-nut Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Sources on the south coast said Portsmouth had offered to pay around £3.7m plus future television income to HMRC in order to avoid becoming the first Premier League club to enter administration.... Just how many people have been promissed the cash from TV income???
saint boggy Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Where is corp ho...? Bet he knows what`s gonna happen:D He was the Lone Supporter !!!!
Appy Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Read Hatch's post again. If he had, say Bent, Rooney and Greening in his team, then he would lose the points from the games they scored goals in as those games would be removed... Interesting point, I am leading my mates fantasy league by a distance. This could lose me some money.
View From The Top Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Where is corp ho...? Bet he knows what`s gonna happen:D His well placed source in the club, whom he sees socially very two weeks for so, has told him that they are to be taken over by The House of Windsor as Queenie believes them to be the bestest fans in the world and is willing to spend £10 billion to secure the Champions league.
GenevaSaint Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Sources on the south coast said Portsmouth had offered to pay around £3.7m plus future television income to HMRC in order to avoid becoming the first Premier League club to enter administration.... Just how many people have been promissed the cash from TV income??? And if that's the plan how the hell are they going to pay the staff and other vendors who supply services! They're fooked plain and simply. That is no a functioning solvent business.
Foxy Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Interesting point, I am leading my mates fantasy league by a distance. This could lose me some money. So if you lose by it bring an action against PFC and apply for a winding up petition if they don't pay. Yours could be the honour
dronskisaint Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 I tried to post that on the pompey webchat but that and a few other comments were filtered out. Me too...could have been because I posted as Lupert Rowe:)

Joensuu Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 "Mark Jacob is not involved at the High Court today" - interesting... why on earth would you not invovlve your resident lawyer?
Appy Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 So if you lose by it bring an action against PFC and apply for a winding up petition if they don't pay. Yours could be the honour That was my thinking. The winnings is £50, i may give them 28 days though.
Tractor_Saint Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 then when they cut to outside Fratton Park, someone behind the camera whistled "I wanna be in that number" 39 seconds in - sheer class whoever that was http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vakdMMloDsc

holepuncture Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Sources on the south coast said Portsmouth had offered to pay around £3.7m plus future television income to HMRC in order to avoid becoming the first Premier League club to enter administration.... Just how many people have been promised the cash from TV income??? Heard a similar rumor last night from a skate 'mate', £3.5m though... they will struggle to see out the season, I responded. I guess maybe storrie decided to keep a low profile by hiding under his desk today, due to his previous with the HMRC and cheating public revenue!
Smirking_Saint Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Any news yet ?? Do we still have a game saturday ??

sidthesquid Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 If this thread goes on much longer I'll be heading to the High Court. I'm self-employed. How much money have I earnt today - not a penny. I have people waiting for me to call them back but I can't focus. It's a nightmare and another twenty-eight days could see me ruined. (And what happens if they give them three months, or six.........)
Master Bates Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 They just had a montage type thing on SSN showing all the advertisement boards etc, are SSN trying to help them sell it?

Joensuu Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Nice comments from the Skates: "Comment From stu : For the first time in my life I hope there are two teams in Hampshire after today" "Comment From Chris : I had every intention of doing lots of work today..... but I don't think there is much chance. If Pompey go under it will be like losing a relative" (Bloody Imbreds)
Foxy Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Ah!!!, but Daniel Azougy is by all counts!!!! Well, he certainly knows the way

If Pompey go under it will be like losing a relative" (Bloody Imbreds) And you were jumping for joy when Pinnacle wheeled out Fialka? Losing a relative is a good analogy IMO except you don't always enjoy time with your relatives - even a better analogy than I thought.

mickn Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 'Portsmouth a community club' LOL. Must have missed that when they were smashing up their own town after beating us.... Well they smashed up their local community didn't they, how much more evidence do you need?
Joensuu Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 And you were jumping for joy when Pinnacle wheeled out Fialka? 19C WTF are you on about? Are you trying to turn the best thread of all time into a MLT slanging match?
