Pompey Takeover Saga

Not suggesting they would..

But those that beat the Skates would lose 3 points which has the secondary impact of effectively giving back 3 points to those that lost to them.

Therefore teams like Liverpool would effectively gain 3 points on those above them and teams like Wolves and Wigan would benefit at the expense of Bolton for example.

Thats fair (always an issue with text not everyone gets the point we try to make.)

This is one thing that the premier league really want to avoid. Imagine Liverpool suddenly winning the PL because the others had their 3 or 6 points removed.

But anyway I'\ve tweaked my golf stance after working with the pros at the weekend and looking forward to my golf now!

(ie I am no longer standing so close to the ball - after I hit it)

Fancy a hack if you are over for the final BTW?

Thanks, thats what i thought and why I think they will get the 28 day 'stay of execution' as that is what it amounts to.

Why the feck should they get a stay of execution. It's not like these 7.5m of liabilites have just appeared over night! Annoying but no doubt the outcome of this appointment today.

'The biggest long term investors in the football club are the fans themselves. The fans have put in millions of pounds over the years which is rather more than the current owners have.

'I hope that the judge will recongnise there is a strong case not to let the club go bust.

'The bankers didn't pay their bills and they were rather large than ours. Why should a football club go under when the banks didn't.

'I think there is a lot of money still to come into the club and the judge should recongise that we are still in the FA Cup and that could generate millions of pounds'.

TBH I find this sad to view. Even on the most darkest day in recent memory for that club, and only ONE of the 'greatest fans in the country' turn up.

Fair play to him though.

Don't think they're going get out of this TBH which is a shame as it would be nice to beat them again.

Really couldn't see them being wound up. But it is looking more likely by the minute.

SSN were talking to David Conn (from the Guardian) about 10 minutes ago. I really respect this man. He thinks winding up is unlikely.

But he was talking about the victims. He especially mentioned St John Ambulance who give their services for free but ask for expenses (bandages, ambulance costs). They haven't been paid

The funny thing is that both FA Cup finalists in 2008 are facing winding up orders on the same day - so obviously that FA Cup money doesn't have a lasting effect......

If the skates make it to saturday, Us Saints, St.Marys, Markus Liebherr and Nicola Cortese will show these chancers what a real football club is all about....

Comical Ali Al Mirage and Baldrick Changrai will see what £15m will get you down on the south coast, great fanbase, uefa elite stadium, etc etc...

I really hope they're watching, all of them, lets show them what its all about.

I want Changrais jaw to hit the ground when he realises he has plunged £20m on nottarf krap, compared to what the real big boys got next door for so much less!

Up the Saints!

Best we can hope for is admin IMO.

That outcome can no longer occur. There are only three outcomes now:

1) Pompey get off without having to pay tax bill (0% chance)

2) Pompey get (say) 28 days to pay taxs (75% chance)

3) Pompey wound up immeadiately (25% chance)
