dubai_phil Posted 14 July, 2014 Share Posted 14 July, 2014 (edited) Harsh but very true ;-) Dubai Phil certainly isn't 25 Has Dubai Phil been to a Pompey home game? The great unwashed make the headlines in Dubai. Don't know if the person in question is a) A TSW Nutjob b) a skate or c) a n other fan who has had the misfortune of visiting Fortress Fatpipes to see his team have their "FA Cup Final" there. Basically he has been banned from one of the less desirable Bars in Dubai - Rock Bottom - (Dubai Phil frequents it so I rest my case ;-) .), after being chucked out for being drunk and disorderly and then had a bit of a drunken rant on FaceBook!! ......... Management at Rock Bottom confirmed that the 25-year-old Englishman has been barred from both branches of the popular watering hole after he wrote “derogatory” comments in a foul-mouthed rant on his social network page. Scott Charlton, the manager of Rock Bottom’s Tecom branch, claimed the man was “very drunk” in the venue last Tuesday and had to be escorted out by security, which sparked the offensive online remarks. In his post, the Rock Bottom customer slammed senior management and labelled bouncers as “warped”. Despite pledging never to set foot in the bar again, he returned last Thursday and Charlton approached him to ask why he had posted the comments on Facebook. “His comments did not make valid points and they were just direct attacks. If he had valid complaints he should have came to us,” Charlton said. The man, who 7DAYS has chosen not to name, said that when he asked the manager how he knew about the comments, the Rock Bottom boss replied: “Because we have 46 mutual friends on Facebook.” The man claimed Rock Bottom was the “worst” place he’d ever experienced. “And I’ve been to a Portsmouth home game,” he added "Kin hell, I go away on my hols for 4 weeks to avoid Ramadan & meet the Dubai Massive invasion of Glasto & you lot team up & give me a bashing. FFS of COURSE I frequent Rock Bottom. And know the Management very well. They all know their job is to stop the place being infested by the Vermin Perhaps it was DP's other half, or three-eighths, or 7/16ths? The same other half who has now converted half of Krakow into Polski Saints on FB. FFS unlike the Nutjobs they've already created a range of Babywear which includes the image of the Baby urinating on the poopey shirt. (Will try & dig up the picture tomorrow. rallyboy Posted 15 July, 2014 Share Posted 15 July, 2014 Can you hear something? It's very quiet but there is definitely a nagging little whine going on. Yes, it's a tiny minnow in League Two shouting to be heard by the bigger clubs like Bournemouth and Brighton. pompey – England’s trailblazing club which continues to break new ground. Really? Summer is here, it must be time to beg and cajole via grand claims of superiority and rousing war cries designed to drag money from the easily-led. Tifosy have done a great job in keeping on pushing it and the deal we have got with them is absolutely fantastic – all the money effectively goes straight into the Academy and they are not getting anything out of it. Whoa hang on, back up, what was that? There is an extra word in that sentence that gives it a different meaning....why? We've seen these deals before that didn't cost the club anything and in the past they were proved to be lying to their own supporters. I'm sure things have effectively changed. dubai_phil Posted 16 July, 2014 Share Posted 16 July, 2014 (edited) Nick old chap. What a shame that the owners of poopey did not use 1% of 1% of the Planning, preparation and ground work on their Business Plan that you clearly put into your new operation. Still, I did note some similarities. Clients p1ssing on toilet seats springs to mind! Oh Pete. Where to start. (So I can finish in under 70 paragraphs just for Derry!) There is an amazing collective Insanity in the UK at the mention of "Dubai Businessman". Gregory House got it right You idiots seem to think that just because a Pint of Beer costs over 6 quid, everyone here is minted. The eyes glaze over and normal instincts just swoon away. Whether it is an Investor from Dubai or equally the chance for a SMB Brit Co to get a Sales Order or Contract from over here. There are PLENTY of professionals here Lawyers, Accountants, Consultants that could help warn people but oh no, all guns blazing straight to ruin. Well, the only people who make money here are Liars and Cheats. Everyone else has to go eat at Ravi's and shop at the Clothing section of Carrefour. Intrinsic to this pattern are the fundamental lack of things you lot take for granted - Consumer Protection Legislation, Social Awareness (let alone services), and in any business outside a Free Trade Zone? A complete lack of ANY need to file ANY Audited Accounts. "I am zillionaire from Dubai" "OMG we are saved. can you prove it?" "Yes I have Photoshop" "OMG you own Photshop"....etc etc etc Then add in the fact that nobody EVER pays for anything - client ONLY takes 180 days credit? consider yourself lucky. It wasn't just Salisbury & The Skates, remember the demise of Saint Lee & that Sexual disease StD? Their "buyer" didn't even have a Trade Licence. How can people NOT check those basic facts out? Oh yes, no Agencies of that nature exist here. Hell even LUFC got screwed over. People here KNOW everyone is crooked and everyone lies. You Brits just ASSUME everyone plays fair. Still, us normal peeps have clubbed together and are now seeking investment for our new Project. In fact we are inviting Pcfc to relocate as our Lead Tenant. The offer to buy them out will be in the post very shortly. Wayne Rooney has already signed up for a Condo We give you THE latest Holiday Destination.. T W A Topolis http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/international/dubai-to-build-****opolis-2014071188511 Dubai unveils ****opolis 11-07-14 A MASSIVE dome full of the horrible things that ****s like is to be built in Dubai. The quintrillion-dollar air-conditioned monstrosity will contain ghastly hotels, pretentious shops and soulless bars called things like ‘Tyger’. A government spokesman said: “****opolis will consolidate our city’s status as a hub for the biggest ****s on the planet. “Footballers, their dreadful wives, sleazebag billionaires and cackling middle-management hen parties will come in their droves because it is very big, very expensive and the weather is hot.” Footballer Wayne Hayes said: “Can I buy shoes that cost more than a hospital? Are they very colourful and can I carry them away in big shiny bags? Can I then eat a burger while my wife gets some hot ‘healing mud’ poured on her? And then buy some **** art? “Basically, is it vile? If so I am in.” Edited 16 July, 2014 by dubai_phil
