Don't you have to have a rudimentary grasp of English grammar, punctuation, and construction to be a journalist?

But you have to consider the capabilities of his readership.

4 at the press conference. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Ahem "mighty"?

Just seen a thread on the main board titled "Diego", I thought Corp-ho-ho-ho had returned to announce their next manager thanks to information from someone ITK who he sees socially every two weeks.

The compensation and the extra Salary to get anyone to take on the Skates is going to burn a hole in their budget. I would love to see the monthly management accounts. Anyone ITK?

They couldn't afford the vast majority of those, bookies should be prosecuted for fraudulent candidates.

By the by whilst I'm on the Pompey topic, Arcadi Gaydamak has been arrested in Zurich and will probably now have to serve his 3 year jail sentence in France.

Connolly at 66/1 has to be worth a shout.

Good call. Now only 11/1 and as short as 9/1 with Corals. May well happen if the leading candidates don't put themselves forward.

Pompey 1-0 up. Southend player bottles cup final and gets sent off. All going swimmingly.

whats that you say? 2-1 Southend.

PMSL

At least getting rid of the manager has had a positive impact on the team. WTFILN

Southend 1-0 down, and reduced to 10 men with about half hour to play.

That is some defeat even by skate standards( reaching a whole new level of sh1t).

How did they manage that?? :o

And another 1,000 off the attendance - I don't want to set alarm bells ringing in the plucky boardroom but it's creeping down to that break-even target they quoted.

The park is far from packed - only about 3,500 paying customers.

And any sensible potential manager would look at that team and run for the hills.

They need wholesale changes but they have a squad that has taken root like the previous ones, you can't offload the crap even on one year deals.

In footballing terms, I think they have got themselves in a little bit of a pickle, on and off the park.

Again.

But to cheer them up, I can't see them managing to plummet into the bottom two.

The reality is hitting them, the tickertape, balloons and memories of that warm day against Oxford are long forgotten. They all "own their club" yet only a select few in it for themselves get any say on just about anything.

This fan ownership really was the best outcome for us all. So tinpot, so funny.

Just think - It they had had the points deduction, they would be five points adrift and Andronikou would be camped outside fatpipes, waiting for his next gig.

News from the other side. Rather hilariously, it would seem that PFC's Engagement Manager Micah Hall (the guy appointed solely to communicate with the fans following his massively public utterings online and publicised through the fans message boards) has apparently decided that he doesn't want to engage with the fans through the medium of online message boards any more. Which hasn't gone down brilliantly with the locals.

Can't imagine that's going to help with the donations towards paying off his legal bills.
