Saint_clark Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 So is it true then that they have had a 2nd winding up order placed on them? Where did you get that from?
St Marco Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Where did you get that from? Apparently a guy at my work said he heard them say it on south today last night briefly. Plus someone in this thread mentioned it too. Maybe they are getting it mixed with 2 other creditors joined the winding up pettition? http://www.fansonline.net/portsmouth/article.php?id=1295

pedg Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Someone obviously realised it was PR disaster so they have obviously paid up and their website is back up again now.
Tractor_Saint Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Someone obviously realised it was PR disaster so they have obviously paid up and their website is back up again now. Indeed - damage already been done though, spokesperson from the club said that they hadn't paid the bill...
pedg Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Indeed - damage already been done though, spokesperson from the club said that they hadn't paid the bill... I think that the most unbelievable bit in that they managed to get a spokesperson to admit something....
Master Bates Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Fred Dinenage probably paid it. Pompeys answer to Leon Crouch.
saint lard Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Azougy making the decisions quite possibly, quelle surprise,or more spin from Storrie thus denying all knowledge of the shenanigans. What is the point of Storrie anymore?........... http://www.fansonline.net/portsmouth/article.php?id=1296

What is the point of Storrie anymore?........... http://www.fansonline.net/portsmouth/article.php?id=1296 The moves seem to be an initiative by the convicted fraudster Daniel Azougy and the motive for such a move is unclear (possibly because you are skint!?). According to Storrie, Begovic would not be allowed to join Spurs even if he didn't actually play for them. The move comes as another source involved in the attempted takeover of the club expressed his frustration at not being able to gain access to the clubs books in order to facilitate a last-ditch rescue bid. (you can get at them but you might need a few thousand iranian students to put them back together)

Merovingian Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Azougy has been told buy the owners sell everything that moves to try and stop us going out of business next week, that is no wind up either
Thedelldays Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Azougy has been told buy the owners sell everything that moves to try and stop us going out of business next week, that is no wind up either boom boom, tish
stevegrant Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Interesting that someone completely separate has registered afcportsmouth.com - bidding war ahoy...
Katalinic Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Azougy has been told buy the owners sell everything that moves to try and stop us going out of business next week, that is no wind up either Rules out Richard Hughes then
Pancake Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Interesting that someone completely separate has registered afcportsmouth.com - bidding war ahoy... isnt saintsfc.com owned by someone other than the club though?
Scummer Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 isnt saintsfc.com owned by someone other than the club though? Think he meant that afcportsmouth.com and co.uk have been registered by different people. Edit: Sorry, I think I got the wrong end of the stick.
Gingeletiss Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Azougy has been told buy the owners sell everything that moves to try and stop us going out of business next week, that is no wind up either Or........sell everything that moves, I will take the money and run, leaving the debts for the courts to sort out.
Weston Super Saint Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 And reported on BBC site, Independent, Times as well as SSN site. Just been on South Today too. The reporter was definitely stifling a laugh when reporting it
Katalinic Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Azougy has been told buy the owners sell everything that moves to try and stop us going out of business next week, that is no wind up either To stop you going out of business or to put some cash in their own pockets before you go out of business? Azougy is a liquidator is he not?
saint lard Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Azougy has been told buy the owners sell everything that moves to try and stop us going out of business next week, that is no wind up either Just like he was for Arcadi Gadymak when he owned the Israli side he assett stripped just prior to their demise, how uncanny. Would not be suprised if a mysterious fire engulfed the offices leaving no trace of the 'books' either that or lost in a mysterious boating accident! Or simply shredded by mistake, you take a peek at PFC books and i'm surre they will make some interesting reading, lots of tipex methinks. Big can of worms will open.
Thedelldays Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 apparently.......bergovic and kaboul could go to spurs for as little as £5m... lol
St Marco Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 So if they do not pay the wages by 5pm tomorrow the staff have the right to walk right? I wonder if any of these clubs interested in players are hoping that happens.
PaulSaint Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Azougy making the decisions quite possibly, quelle surprise,or more spin from Storrie thus denying all knowledge of the shenanigans. Sureley the number one motive for a convicted "money fraudster" who's been given the reigns - is to line his / his bosses pockets. Will wont care if they go under in 10 days time, he'll be in Monaco harbour smoking a cuban cigar & humming Amarillo.
stevegrant Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 apparently.......bergovic and kaboul could go to spurs for as little as £5m... lol So if they do not pay the wages by 5pm tomorrow the staff have the right to walk right? I wonder if any of these clubs interested in players are hoping that happens. That's a good point - why would Spurs negotiate a price of £5m when they could, in theory, get them for nothing in a couple of weeks' time? Spurs in ****ing money down the drain shocker...
sperm_john Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 sorry if this is old hat, but anyone noticed pompey dont have a website any more ...well technically theres still adverts on their official website, but no content ...and sky sports news are reporting the company in charge of their website have stopped performing because they havent been paid, once again, sorry if old hat, but bloody funny ...
Katalinic Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 So if they do not pay the wages by 5pm tomorrow the staff have the right to walk right? I wonder if any of these clubs interested in players are hoping that happens. If they can then surely Spurs would be better off telling Kaboul and Begovic to wait until tomorrow, walk out for nothing and they get an extra £1 million each signing on fee? Is it as simple as that though if they are not paid? Not sure anyone has got to the bottom of it yet.
Thedelldays Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 So if they do not pay the wages by 5pm tomorrow the staff have the right to walk right? I wonder if any of these clubs interested in players are hoping that happens. you would think ANY club having a look at a pompey player would wait till tomorrow, and if they fail to pay wages, then lure their target player away..... maybe we should put a cheeky bid in for bergovic and kaboul..
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 apparently.......bergovic and kaboul could go to spurs for as little as £5m... lol Where'd you see that?
Huffton Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 apparently.......bergovic and kaboul could go to spurs for as little as £5m... lol The sharks are circling, expect a last day feeding frenzy fire sale. More bargains than David Dickinson could shake a stick at...:smt030
popyto Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 looks like somoen popped 50p in the meter the sites back up now
St Marco Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 That would be fecking funny though wouldn't it. They think they will get £10m for the two players and everything will be alright. Then they don't pay them, they walk on frees and take a nice signing on fee chunk at their new clubs and Portsmouth get nothing. Maybe it is meant to be
Saint Keith Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Think he meant that afcportsmouth.com and co.uk have been registered by different people. Edit: Sorry, I think I got the wrong end of the stick. no, thats right, they have been registered by different people, but both of them only in the last few weeks
krissyboy31 Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 If they can then surely Spurs would be better off telling Kaboul and Begovic to wait until tomorrow, walk out for nothing and they get an extra £1 million each signing on fee? Is it as simple as that though if they are not paid? Not sure anyone has got to the bottom of it yet. I suspect that they're getting them for virtually nothing any way, to pay off what Spuds are owed on Kaboul's original transfer. Apparently Begovic can't play for another team this season, so my guess he will be loaned back to the Skates for the rest of the season.
Hatch Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 That's a good point - why would Spurs negotiate a price of £5m when they could, in theory, get them for nothing in a couple of weeks' time? Spurs in ****ing money down the drain shocker... And if Spurs have £5m sploshing around and do end up getting them for free , I hope the tax man looks at how the £5m suddenly becomes £4.5m and the local Swimming Pool contractors down at Sandbanks get a £0.5m order for another job.
Saint Keith Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 That's a good point - why would Spurs negotiate a price of £5m when they could, in theory, get them for nothing in a couple of weeks' time? Spurs in ****ing money down the drain shocker... possibly its not £5m in cash, merely the £5m tottenham might still be owed, with add ons etc, and what they're still owed from the original transfers. maybe they just see this as way of getting their players back, without losing them to another club, or the money they're still owed as you say, would be astonishing if it actually involved any cash changing hands
ericofarabia Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Azougy has been told buy the owners sell everything that moves to try and stop us going out of business next week, that is no wind up either Don't think there's much hope of you buying anything Lol at the wind up bit !! Amazing how many Freudian slips are popping up on these PFC freds
ericofarabia Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 And if Spurs have £5m sploshing around and do end up getting them for free , I hope the tax man looks at how the £5m suddenly becomes £4.5m and the local Swimming Pool contractors down at Sandbanks get a £0.5m order for another job. Meh ... beat me to it
ericofarabia Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 The only place not screwing pompey at the moment seems to be Unit One .... no money .... no fanny.
Clapham Saint Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Not looking good for their sales negotiations. Maybe somebody should buy them a copy of "negotiating for dummies". Does anybody have a phone number for a book shop where we might be able to buy such a book?
dubai_phil Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 And reported on BBC site, Independent, Times as well as SSN site. That was damned fine work chaps. Now what's our next project to publicise to embarrass them?
dubai_phil Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 Wow who will make it nearly then and..... two to go!
Saint Keith Posted 28 January, 2010 Posted 28 January, 2010 9000!!!!!!! certainly is. wonder if we'll make it to 10,000 before they go down the swanny
