Good point. Sweepstake- when will the novelty wear off and they start calling for a sugar daddy? I'm going for season six.

Season SIX!? When they're bumbling around mid-table of league two with half of next season gone reality will soon set in...

Listening to their new Chief Idiot In Charge McInnes .... In interview, avoided question that they had to pay more for club, and had to pay back over a period of time. Starting in debt already..... Also average crowd of 12,500 not enough to keep Skates FC solvent. Interesting times ahead for us nutjobs

Emma Judd ‏@pn_Emma_Judd 8m

What happens now is the deal for the PST to take the club over can continue, and should be completed on April 29.

Ummmm, isn't that after the season finishes????????????????

If they are aiming to complete on 29th April then they could be backing up what I've been banging on about for a couple of months now..... that the FL set a deadline of 30th April (as per their letter to all other FL clubs that I was told about) rather than the date of the last game (27th April).... whether that means they can weasel out of the -10 being applied this season seems doubtful but it seems like they are going to take it as close to the deadline as they can from what Judd says there...for whatever reason that may be....

Amazing that this time there is a football fan who is a judge, when they were i court before the judges wouldn't know what football was. Reading the few tweets it seemed to me that Chanrai jumped the gun by arranging a deal. The judge didn't seem to be on Pompeys side at that time. I hope that Pompey twist Hull City in the future that'll teach him

But I wonder if part of the 'deal' was as others as well as me have said in that there is an 'overage' clause in there

I'm sure the fact they haven't released the details of the deal instantly is simply an administrative matter rather than them not wanting to p1ss on the bonfire of euphoria too early... ;)

Scratch my conspiracy theory re: 30th April...

BBC_Solent_Prop_RGB_normal.jpgBBC Solent Sport ‏@solentsport2m

Date set for #pompey to exit adminstration is April 22nd . Price paid for the club by #pst described as " £3miilion plus add-ons"

and continuing with their transparency.... "plus add-ons".... come on PDT...spit it out...you know you want to...

Rearrange the following into a well-known trope:

Can I congratulate the skates on potentially becoming the 'biggest' (and 'bestest') fan owned (well, partially fan owned) club in the lower leagues (NB, I'd say Swansea hold this mantle in the upper leagues, and the world-wide crown is held by Real). It seems to me that they are now allowed to buy their own ground, for a currently undisclosed price which might be around the £3m mark.

All they need to do now to survive is actually complete the sale in the next 19 days. To do this, all they will need to do is collect the pledged cash from their fanbase. Oh, and hope that a certain former owner doesn't appeal against the process, and if he does that this appeal is spead through the legal system and heard within the next 19 days.

To add to the excitment over the next three weeks, we will also find out which league, and on how many points, the skates will be allowed to start next season, if at all. Will the get the just penalty they deserve, or will they earn the anger of their peers, and find another loophole to exploit?

Today's result might not be what some were hoping to see, but I'm chuffed. 'Hope' is restored, while there are plenty of twists and turns yet. Will the skates fail to fund their purchase? Will Balram hit them with a late appeal? Will the league grow some mawhinney's again and actually punish them?

IF the skates survive the next few weeks unscathed, anyone know the odds on another administration within the year?

My understanding is that Chanrai cannot appeal
